Poor service. No customer service. J’ai été redirigé de Kayak et effectué une réservation. J’arrive à l’hôtel et je constate une chambre avec une salle de bain salle. Sorry sorry et on me donne une chambre après une heure avec plusieurs défauts. Pas satisfait après avoir payé 175$. J’essaye de contacter Agoda Silence Radio. Aucune réponse : mail téléphone 30min sans réponse. Fini Agoda et Kayak 000 customer service. Je garde Expedia+++ et Booking+++. Le reste NEVER.

Overcharged my credit card upon booking. Customer service blames it on “variable currency exchange rates. Don’t forget the “plus 5%!”” ... once I provided the correct amount I should have been charged they accuse me of selecting a “Book now, Pay later” option and that’s why I was charged extra. Why would I be charged immediately upon booking if I were to choose that option???!!!! Also, the room rate was actually cheaper on their website compared to the app, and yet they can’t even price match their own lower price!!!
YOU SNEAKY TRAMP RETARDS ALWAYS HAVE TO SCAM PEOPLE!!! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!
Update: After multiple emails and being ridiculously frustrated, ONE person in customer service decided to refund the overcharge on my credit card. Good for you guys. Sure it was simple to enter my info and book a room... Still not using or recommending your company again.

Move over trivago! Agoda is where it’s at!! Amazing hotels, great deals and CHEAP PRICES!!! Agoda finds and compares rooms with no hassle and finds the cheapest price available! Ever since I discovered Agoda, I haven’t used another booking site and probably will never! I can’t stress it enough as to how amazing this app really is. I found one room online using trivago and they were advertising it as the cheapest price available at $150+booking/hotel fees. Agoda found me the same room with the fees all included in the final price of JUST $81!!!! That’s practically $70 cheaper than what trivago had as the “cheapest” room available!

It’s good to see someone challenging that other site/app. It’s just really unfortunate that they’ve so closely copied all of its really annoying user interface behaviour (ex. Showing you all the places that are sold out, really pushy language with lots of exclamation marks), plus has few filter/sorting options. Overall for now is not as good as the site it’s challenging.

Agoda is like a snapping turtle, once they have your money they lock on won’t let go. Even if it’s their screw up — and they screw up a lot — they’ll never admit it or issue a refund. Did you know you can’t delete your account either. Once they have your personal information they snap on and keep on using it, spamming you with endless deals. One of the stupidest things they do is, if you just stayed in a hotel last week say, they’ll try to convince you to go back. Same with a destination, they start spamming you with junk mail try to convince you to go back to the same place you just came back from. One of the best things you can do to protect yourself from these guys (besides don’t sign up in the first place) is always leave terrible feedback on every hotel, even if it was good. If enough people do that hotels will stop using this horrible, horrible booking service.

Be very careful using this app - you may get what appears to be a cheaper price for your hotel stay, but trying to confirm things with Agoda customer service was a nightmare. I was told completely incorrect things about my booking, and the actual hotel could not find my booking. Please make sure you call your hotel directly within a few days of booking through Agoda to make sure they have your confirmed booking. Will not be using again.
Agoda is a scam, go for Expedia and avoid anything from booking.com

Booked hotel, and when I arrived to check in found out that their system had not booked because of possible fraud.
The required procedure to proceed with booking to me to an Agoda site to upload supporting docs, the website however was broken and I couldn’t upload, phones support she confirmed site was broken, we talked in circles for 20 mins and was told the only way to proceed was to use the page which she confirmed was broken!?
Complete waste of time, 45 mins trying to sort this and ended up just rebooking on Expedia (which I’ve always used) with no problems.
