I can’t download the app to my iPhone!

It used to be fine but I uninstalled it when it kept freezing on the devotional page and now I can’t reinstall it at all! (5 stars because I love Our Daily Bread and I’m hoping you’ll fix the bugs soon!)

I download the app yesterday and it froze up after I open it. I can see the readings for today and tomorrow and the past months however that is were the app is frozen. I cannot go any further. I am using IOS 13.5 on an iPhone SE

I read this app during the first hour of waking up along with my bible app. Dark mode will be really helpful to not strain the eyes. Please update the app with dark mode. The app has been such a blessing for years in my life for meditating on practical examples on Gods word.

I think the different site apps should be color coded and technically separated.

It’s the app that is problematic. It freezes all the time, regardless of what page it opens to. Having to restart or reboot a device because of an app is never good.
Daily Bread is a great devotional tool. I would recommend it, just not the app.
Great Way to Start the Day

I have been using this app for a couple of years and really enjoy it. It’s a great way to have quiet time and start the day. I have never had any problems with it until recently. Now, when I open the app, the page freezes and I have to wait before I can tap the Bible reading. It then freezes when I try to go back to the devotional message. It eventually it will work, but it’s very frustrating.

I have used this app for several years. Until a couple of weeks ago I was able to read offline, but now when I try to open a daily reading the app closes. If I am online I can access the reading for the day, unfortunately I do not have my own internet connect, so would rather read offline. I miss the content...

Always enjoyed ODB over the years. However the app is consistently buggy. Registration is still a no go. Opening the Bible reading is hit and miss. Currently, the devotional does not display when you click on it to open. Simply get a blank screen. Frustrating.

Even though I don’t need to be motivated to read and commune with my Saviour daily, I actually like the counter because it helps to keep me accountable and not to consider setting aside my daily reading to attend to something else with the intent to read later in the day which on occasion doesn’t happen.
I don’t see it as a social media tool but a spiritual tool. It can help people who are new to daily readings or who are struggling to put a plan in place to have more consistency in reading the Word.
The only drawback is that the counter is off. It misses a few days so the days you read are not accurately recorded.
Please remove the counter!

I love ODB. It’s my morning, every morning, first thing.
But you’ve added a counter. I hate it. It’s insulting, somehow, to be told ‘yay! You’ve read 70 days in a row!’.
This is a product of social media self-gratification and doesn’t belong in my devotions.
I love you guys but this feature is feeding a social media trend that is not welcome, nor should be encouraged.
Do devotions and Bible reading because you want to serve the Lord with gladness, not to fulfil a social media self-gratification hit for likes.

The new look is amazing. At first there were a few bugs here and there which made the app inconvenient to use. Now the new updates fix them all! I can tell how much work has been put into this app which I truly appreciate and be thankful. I am using it daily.

Bad quality control on programming

The audio will stop when the iPad turn off the screen.
The menu should able to go out without taking 1/3 of the place.
In chinese, I should be able to choose either Cantonese or mandarin, once you choose that audio I should be stay until further change.
A lot of this are common sense but this programmer did not complete the user test to improve then release.
Please pay more attention.
