I tried other translation-type apps but they were too problematic.
This Learn Chinese Mandarin was very helpful and fun to use on my last trip to Beijing.
Put common or useful phrases into Favourites, play them over for practice, or just play them live.

This is one if my favourite apps to help me learn the language. It would be better if I had the option to choose a female speaker, and the option to slow the words down even more. Everything else is great and it is most worthy of my time!! :)

Really helpful
I'm just trying to learn a little bit, but this app is really going to help with that. The free version is a goo start too, pretty much everything you need for free except sentences to use in an emergency. I recommend for anyone traveling to mainland China.
