Using on different device

Trying to use the purchased version on new tablet. Says to tap to “restore purchase” but tapping brings me to pay option. No way to contact for assistance. Will not be purchasing again because at $5+ was already a stretch. Do better!

Daughter enjoys game, but full version not working

I paid for the full version, but it doesn’t seem to download. I’ve tried on many different devices at various times (iPhone, iPad mini, iPad Air).
Frustrating that it’s been about a month since I paid and still only have three letters for her to play.

Latest update rendered app inoperable

I purchased this app for my autistic son, have had it for years, the last update was intended for 64bit only so when trying to download update it said it was incompatible with my device which is fully updated with current iOS by the way. But App Store wouldn't let me clear the push notification even after I adjusted it in my settings, so I uninstalled it with the intention of re downloading from the cloud, something I have done before. The app straight up said my device was incompatible and so I basically just threw away the money I spent. That and the price I paid for the app through the App Store was more than the currently advertised price. Clicking on app support just takes you to the sesame website where they want to show us about all the good they do in the world ie: ask for donations. I don't know what I'm going to do when my autistic son finds his favorite app gone. Please fix this considering that my iPad 4 is in the list of compatible devices.

Updated versions do not work

Audio does not work properly so letters are not pronounced. Tracing is still not working as it did before. As many reviews have said the updates since 2014 Dec have ruined this great app. Don't download till they fix this.

Once great app ruined in update

At one point this was my sons favourite app. One update later it's nearly impossible to trace most of the lower case letters. Do not purchase this app until they update

Frustrated

My 2 years old kid is getting frustrated playing with this app. He used to love this app but since the new update he's not able to draw into the lowercase letters. He also waits for Elmo to say the letter when he chooses a letter around the square so he can repeat it but it goes silent. Did that function disappear or is there a setting to bring that back? I tried removing the app and re-installing it, still has the bugs. Please fix the bugs, I hate seeing him angry and disappointed!

Elmo Loves ABCs for iPad

I so want to give this app the 5 stars I would have before the last update, early Dec 2013. This is a really great and fun learning app for children. It is used quite frequently in our home and one of our 5 year old's favourites. With the new update, it does not seem to be as picky that the tracing is perfect, but unfortunately the tracing on the lower case letters does not always register, there is a gap that does not fill in on most letters. This makes it frustrating for kids as they cannot move on to the next part. I hope Sesame Street is able to correct this soon! Otherwise a great app, wish they had more a

If I could suggest one thing...

Love this app with all the videos from Sesame Street linked to the letters, the practice writing, etc.
But...it would be even better if when the iPad is on mute mode that the sound for this app would also be muted. Have opened the iPad upon arriving home late at night to Elmo shouting at me that he "LOVES TO WRITE"...funny for me (to be scared by Elmo at 11pm, not so funny for the sleeping infant, spouse, toddler...y

Amazing!!

I love that you can customize each letter with your own videos. All our friends and family have made a video for the letter of their name, and those are my sons favourites!

My 2.5 year old LOVES this.

Strongly recommend this app. My boy loves it and is starting to draw letters on his own. At first he got me to use his finger to trace the letters and now he can do a fe on his own! Great Job S. Street!

Good but…..

Like sooo many kid's games on here, they need an adult to play it with them. It's as if the people who develop these apps never even test them with children that would be using them. For example, a toddler doesn't understand that the buttons can't be pressed when Elmo is talking. Then when he's done, we have to wait for all the buttons that we pressed to clear / finish. While we do love this app, it can be painful to use sometimes as there is so much waiting involved for Elmo to stop talking….when all a 3 year old wants to do is press buttons.

Is Elmo Uploading your family Photos?

My child loves this app, but when I attempt to customize it by adding personalized photos, the app wants permission to access all my photos, then when you say yes, it appears to be loading all 800 photos from my iPad and takes forever to finish...Whats going on here?
Is Elmo uploading all photos along with GPS data to their servers? This appears to be a security breach that goes against Canadian privacy laws.
Aside from this, it's a wonderful app with many great features that keep my child engaged and learning.

Fun learning tool

We started out with the lite version and our 2 year old loved it so much we had to upgrade. He's been asking to play with it often and is more interested in learning his letters. Mom and dad have been caught singing the disco version of the ABCs when there's no children in sight!

Useful on many levels

The combination of every child's favorite character, Elmo, combined with the opportunity to trace letters, sound out letters, and watch short videos based on those letters makes this a fantastic educational app. It's amazing what my 3 year old son can do, and the letters he recognizes based on this app.

We bought this for our 22 month daughter and she loves it. Not only is it a great teaching tool, but it is also a lot fun. I want to get it for my iPhone.

Fantastic learning tool

We have 4 children ranging from 1-6 years old and this app is one of their absolute favorites! The videos are great and the games are fun. There is so much content in this app that the fun and learning goes on and on! Thanks for a fantastic app!

Elmo loves abcs for iPad

I purchased this app for granddaughter, (she is 20 months old) and she loves this game. The problem is when you pick from the 3 things at bottom of screen it does not always play the proper video.

Daycare kids love this app!

I own a home daycare and my kids from 11 months and up love this app. The thing I love for the older kids is that they have to trace the letter to unlock the videos, coloring and fun hidden behind every letter, which is great practice. Not to mention Elmo, who doesn't love Elmo?!

A for effort, D for delivery

This is a very good concept, but I can't help feeling that developers didn't actually test on real children. My son loves this app, but he gets frustrated very fast -- the videos take a long time to load, and pressing the same video button while the video is loading will try to load it again, so it takes even longer as a result. Elmo talks for too long after the activity has loaded, but the activity itself can't yet be played. Hopefully future versions will fix these issues so kids can fully enjoy this app.

Great app

Perfect app for my 2 year old. I think the sensitivity is a little too high. Before the upgrade it was too hard but now when in one activity, a random touch on the screen pops you into another activity.
Other then that it's excellent and my 2yr old begs to play "elmo"

Needs work

My little girl loves this...... When it works..... It does not recognize any touch on anything unless you hold your finger over it for a second or two and have you ever tried to teach a three year old to do that, good luck and most of the videos for the letters don't have any sound. With some bug fixes this could be perfect
