Friday night. 7:45 PM. King Street and Atlantic. Waiting for the 63 bus to Ossington Station. Rocketman app lists a bunch of nonexistent arrivals. As each timer counts down, the bud “disappears”. So, fake results. System is a total joke.

This app is terribly inconsistent and inaccurate all the time. I have missed so many important appointments because of its poor information. I know it’s not an exact science to always be accurate with the bus schedule information, but they can try and make it less inefficient. It’s very frustrating to be waiting at the bus stop for an hour because the bus schedule is inaccurate or just wrong schedule all together. Very frustrating. Can the creators of the app please get it together?

This app is good is you are a 9-5 M to F person. However, my experience has repeatedly showed me that if one needs to know where the next bust is on odd hours. Good luck because is 3/5 unreliable. It does not even show the bus on the app, in the winter is not fun being outside waiting for the bus( I am not sure if the TTC drivers don’t like to turn on their GPS) OR is just the way it is with the geolocation

Broken, untested, crashes, worst UI ever seen in an app. Takes 3 minutes to load. Not even a good demo. Oh you added surveys, great! No need to actually make the app work for people. Busses that are behind disappear! You will miss your bus as it’s not showing! Ridiculous, worse than without the app. I can use Google Maps for transit since you aren’t going to fix it.
Busses going only one way? Not even a schedule going the other way? Oh it works in one screen and completely empty in another! Why can’t I see the schedule? your apps is broken, zero stars

I'm profoundly offended by the “Using the bathroom” message on the screen. How low can it get. I reached out to the makers of the app directly, but the new update doesn’t reflect any change : seems like the image of a toilet (“using the bathroom”) is what we are supposed to have in mind whenever we use this app. Is this supposed to be funny? And if so, for whom? I feel disgusted and offended. I’m not a kid anymore and bathroom jokes certainly don’t appeal to me. How unprofessional.

There is a replacement bus (504/505) which I take to & from the city all the time and I swear the predictions are getting worse. Oftentimes it will say like 12 minutes - which gives me enough time to walk from one stop to the next. But then the bus will come in 3 seconds & then I miss it entirely. It makes absolutely no sense. Sometimes it says it will come in 3 minutes but actually takes 15! At some points I think why not take an Uber if it says it’s going to come in 30 minutes - but then it shows up in 2 minutes! I doubt it’s that hard to make it a bit more accurate.

I don’t know how can you mess up such a simple concept like location tracking in 2022. I tried using it daily for my streetcar next to my house every morning . And let me tell you , if you think that most expensive public transit company in the world “TTC” can do something right , you are in denial .
Easily 80% of the time the streetcar will just arrive 3-4 minutes early and leave . And you will be left out in the cold waiting for another 15-20 minutes wondering why you even thought that it would be there . And no update will be shown in the app. It’ll still say arriving in 3mins until it leaves and then poof…
Map tracking. Feature is atrocious as well . You will never know which bus is yours on the tracker , as it’s as messy as it can get it .
Oh wait there is more! If you think that you don’t need to reatart the app every time to get “accurate” time , you are also wrong . Because if you don’t restart the whole thing then the time would just remain the same , so if you checked the app and saw bus 10 min away , and then you minimized it or locked your phone , and then you checked 5 mins later , guess what you would see … yes you are right , you will see 10 mins away , or maybe 9 if you are lucky . So yeah … good luck , and thank you TTC for being the best 🤮

I came here because the other app that I was is using so faithfully discontinued and I do t know why because it always had the correct times and was always accurate. This app however, is nothing of that. I have been using it for a week and it is very inaccurate with the timing. I would looked between google maps and this app and it’s always so many minutes apart which is crazy to me. I can’t rely on this app at all because I am not trying to be late for work.

While the UI / UX and some programming issues (I’m a senior iOS developer) could be resolved - (glitchy UI during wait times/refreshing, times will regularly say 1:60 instead of just 1:00, etc etc) - I do have to say that this is probably one of the single most useful and value-add apps that the Watch offers.
In a time when Uber is killing their WatchOS support, *please* keep your Watch app around. It’s golden.
Maybe fix some of the UI/UX/coding issues though. :)

If the time it gives me is too early, that’s fine. I can always just wait a couple of more minutes and I won’t have missed my ride. The problem is the app CONSTANTLY gives times that are too LATE. Meaning that the ride gets there full minutes earlier than was posted. Even when I am proactive and reach the stop earlier than the posted time, it’s often not enough. For this app to have consistent utility, this issue needs to be addressed.

I live in Toronto, one of the first cities for which this transit info app was available. It was beautiful then; it is even more beautiful now. And their support is amazingly efficient and responsive. They even quickly fixed a slightly choppy scrolling in a recent update. Real talent. And I was just reading about a new feature to report crowding levels to help you maintain social distancing under COVID-19. Real caring. Great people. Great app!

It was a best transit app. But in the last few weeks it became very bad. When I go to work, I look at bus arrival time at the stop near me. This part is fine. But, when I have to transfer to another bus, or when I am going home from work, it still showing the bus and a time from my morning commute. It seems like it stuck at one location. I can’t rely on it anymore.

I've missed the bus or streetcar three times this past week due to arrival times that were just wrong. App will show 90 seconds to arrival and i'll see the bus wiz by at the end of the street. What happened???
