I am running IOS 13.3.1 and the app will not load crashes immediately. I wish you guys would fix this.

4.9 update - v5.0 fixed it 5.3 broke again
Why would you state the new version 4.9 is good with iOS 9 or later yet you drop iPhone 5 off the list.
The update sits continually in my App updates yet it will not download due to the incompatibility......
Review updated - version 5 was able to be downloaded and is working fine.
Update again - same issue with 5.3 as in 4.9

Bad News

Fix your ads
Used to be easy to read articles, even with adds. However, over the last number of months the ads just take over any article. Their loading jumps the page around, some times the article freezes after an ad loads, sometimes it just shuts down the app.
I get that newspapers are scrambling for money, but you’re going to keep losing money if you put out a bad product.

Little effort to improve over time
Stories pop up multiple times, first one usually has no content so have to find the actual story further down.
Recently “National” section has been inundated with 90%sports section(Mostly MLB? Feel like they’re being uploaded by a rookie).
Videos rarely seem to work, and images seem to take forever to download(not that they’re typically key).
Worst part is no crossword.
Gonna get my news from closer to the source, seeing as most of the stories seem to be from elsewhere

Inconsistent daily updates
I’ve had this app on/off for a year. I prefer this over the full e-paper. The past 4 months isn’t maintained well as it will not refresh daily, where I eventually delete it and try to download a new one.

Pulling down to update brings up a new ad and a label of updated but doesn't actually update the stories (only works maybe 10% of the time).

Ruined by addition of random ads with audio
I used to use mostly to get Canucks coverage but also used for some news stories. But last update included ads that have audio that pop up when you open the app. I use sometimes when everyone else around me is sleeping. Not anymore - app deleted because if random ads with audio.

This used to be a great app and. Ow it doesn't refresh new stories, it has repeat articles and the new stories that come out are a day late, like the antiquated paper version that nobody pays for anymore.

Same Article under Numerous Headings
You'd think a company crying about their business model collapsing, would at least be able to fix a very basic app. Repeatedly stories are double or tripled under different headers. It's very annoying. And just another reason I'd never spend a red cent (when they still existed) and this crap product.

Terrible app
Very dissatisfied. Repeatedly complained about the comments or lack of ability to do so. Even this review process is lousy.
Blank pages, repetitive stories, old articles remain on pages forever. Not worth the money
