I paid for this app and now this “upgrade” voids the purchase, forcing me into a subscription. I hate you. I’m cancelling all product services I have with you including Meister Task.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan above.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings on the device.

Mind meister
The app overall is very helpful and resourceful. Personally I used it to study for my exams and it really helps organize everything in a way you understand it! The best part was the fact that it’s free to use. The only thing that bothered me at all was the fact that it glitched out on me every time I tried to move the text which got annoying but is expected to happen with most apps anyway.

I really like using Mindmeister to get my thoughts on a page. The integration with Taskmeister is a great addition to connect thoughts to tasks.

Convivial et pertinent
Après avoir comparé diverses applications de création de cartes conceptuelles, c’est avec Mindmester que j’ai choisi de travailler. L’application est conviviale et offre un rendu visuellement intéressant.
Suggestion : il serait intéressant de pouvoir associer un noeud à deux éléments à la fois (liaison standard et non pas fils colorés). Il serait aussi intéressant d’avoir un mode libre permettant de placer les noeuds où on le souhaite.

J’aime bien l’utiliser et il m’est fort utile dans mes résumés de lectures de textes scientifiques, cependant je n’ai pas trouvé de démo sur la façon de vraiment l’utiliser. J’y vais de façon intuitive mais je suis certain que je n’ai pas encore exploiter l’ensemble de ses possibilités.

Great app for organizing notes and presentation
Very easy to use. Key command is intuitive and easy to use. I don’t know if there is a key command for going back to mother branch and thought that would be useful as well. Another suggestion is if there is a offline version on macbook it would also make working on different platforms more seamless. Overall great app!

Capturing a days worth of goings on in anything close to coherent has always been a challenge for me. Adding live web links and throwing thoughts down to connect later is very helpful. Post debriefs are fast and easy. A great way to leverage the time and money spent in seminars.

Great for collaboration
I picked MindMeister so that I could work simultaneously with remote users. It does that effectively. The mobile App version needs work, as it is difficult to use.
Have not put that much time into it yet, so far on the desktop browser version it works quite well for me.

Meister Tasks just doesn't work
A new web tool called Meister Tasks was added, which supposedly allows me to convert my MindMeister items into tasks. What a brilliant idea!
Sadly, though, the Meister Tasks component does not work. Period. It is supposed to further the usability of this app, but it is so badly coded that, using an iPad, which is the platform for this app, you can't even create a project, which renders it useless.
Meister Tasks is an extension of MindMeister. The MindMeister app is an app for iOS, but using iOS, there is no way to use Meister Tasks.
Why not create a Meister Tasks app, or incorporate Meister Tasks functionality into MindMeister? Otherwise, you are asking me to use MindMeister on iOS and to use a good old computer for Meister Tasks, which is just unbelievably cumbersome. Not only that, but since I haven't tried Meister Tasks on a computer, there is no telling if it would work. I just know it doesn't on an iPad...

I just recently downloaded the app and while it may be pretty cool to use I can't say it is entirely user friendly.
Most importantly I have had technical Issues from the moment I started using it. First I couldn't sign in with Twitter and second for every time I was using it I would get an error that would come up.

It's ridiculous that it has to be connected to the Internet to use. I can understand it when the user wants to collaborate, but it definitely should not be mandatory to get started.

Love this collaborative app & the online version. They have continually improved the experience over the years and I particularly like the ability to export into other formats.
