Too long
Why when I pay for annual digital subscription, am I the last to get a magazine copy. It is already on supermarket shelves but I’m still waiting!

No landscaping viewing
I’m due to renew but will decline because since the last 2 issues, and after a developer’s upgrade, you cannot view the magazine in a landscape option with the 2 consecutive pages opened las if you’re holding the magazine in your hand. It’s just become like a regular PDF file

What happened to the interactivity
Had this app for the past 4 years. Enjoyed it due to the interactivity of the online magazine.
Since it has been updated, it’s basically a PDF version of the physical magazine. Also, I’ve lost all my downloads/ previous purchase starting February 2018. I am not willing to pay $3.99 for each magazine download that i already paid for.
Very disappointing and will be unsubscribing.

Cannot restore purchases
I too have had issues trying to get my app to work. I pay for the digital subscription but my new iPad cannot restore. I have contacted the help desk at H&H and they cannot do anything
I cannot get the subscription to work on my iPad. Terrible experience.

Disappointed
I expected more from this app. After I download an issue, why can’t I go back to the library? I have deleted the app and reinstalled it so I can read a new issue. Not acceptable.

Can't get back to the library
On this latest update, once in an issue, there is no way to get back to the library, except by deleting the app and re-installing. Very frustrating.

On my recent purchases the library icon at the top left is gone and I am stuck in the magazine with no way to get back to the library. VERY frustrating.

Dissapointed
Lately every time the monthly download should be available it is not. I restore purchases and went as far as erasing my iOS device and reinstalling the app as a new user however I am unable to download new magazines. This is unacceptable.

Updated APP doesn't support earlier versions
Very unhappy this morning as I tried to download the April 2014 magazine but told needed a newer version of the APP. however, when I try to download the new version I can't because I have IPAD 1. So, it is not only some of the content I cannot access, it is ALL the content. Will be deleting/canceling subscription.

I have been subscribed to this magazine for awhile now and have enjoyed reading each month until this month. The app has been updated to a iOS which doesn't work on my original iPad so now I am unable to read this magazine I have paid for.

Charging print subscribers for this app?
As a long-time print subscriber (around 10 years), I am very put off by the decision to charge print subscribers for this app. The editorial reasoning is weak from a loyalty point-of-view:
"We completely redesign every issue of H&H Magazine for our iPad App and produce iPad-only extras such as videos, slideshows, interactive graphics and more. This requires substantial time and resources."
Oh, boo hoo.
Their reasoning is offensive because it denies print subscribers access to the special features that are being created for the iPad version. I am so annoyed by this that I do not intend to renew my print subscription when it comes due later this year. How does H&H expect to compete when they're turning off their most loyal readers?

Wonderful digital experience!
I have been a big fan of the print version, but I recently was raving about the digital version to a friend and said that I prefer the digital version! I love the videos, the room wipes, and all of the digital extras!

Usage of HH app
I have this on my iPad I find it very frustrating and do not want to continue my subscription.
Half the time it doesn't respond and appears to lock on the screen. I've chkd all my settings, talked to apple care about it, they recommend going to the magazine company.
Some features are great, when it works, but overall I am not impressed having to spend more time maneuvering.

Great other than interrupting sound
The magazine content is great. The built in ads that start playing without prompting and interrupt any music that is playing on your device is very irritating. I will be cancelling my subscription for this reason.

I enjoyed the hard copy but I thought the iPad version just didn't work online -- small photos not easy to access. It was improved to a certain extent but I gave up on it before the fix.

House and Home has always been one of my favourite magazines, but being able to get it on my iPad with the House and Home App is just absolutely fabulous. Since I take my iPad with me everywhere I can access the magazine whenever I have a few minutes to spare. Keep up the excellent work and I will be a lifetime user of this App.

Maybe one of my top 5 favourite magazines but the touch functionality to navigate around this app is all over the map and often non-responsive. And yes, I have latest downloads, etc...it's just a buggy app.

Frustration
Love the magazine. Takes forever to download and once magazine is downloaded cannot get toolbar to appear. You are stuck in that issue and cannot get back to your library!

Downloads take forever and don't continue while I doing something else. Once issues I downloaded disappeared and had to be downloaded again. The "erase away to reveal the new look" was fun the first time, but now just seems time-consuming. Still love the content.

Good App for my fav mag
H&H is one of very favourite magazines. I really enjoy this iPad app as well. I like the extra content and the interaction. My only complain would be that it does crash quite often and will not download new releases in the background.

Winter/December issue
I have had trouble opening issues in the past but eventually the problem is resolved. However, I am incredibly frustrated as I cannot open the 2012 December issue. I was looking forward to this issue in particular and am not impressed that I have paid for a service I cannot access.

This app used to be the best magazine app available....sorry to say that this is no longer the case! Plus.... Delay from publication to app availability on iPad is getting longer and longer! Pretty soon, the app will be available the following month
