Have been stuck on loading screen since March 2020
Not sure when this happened, but since the pandemic started, I tried to use the app to listen in on 680 news, but the app just load up the 680 news screen and it stays there.

Crash!!
This app automatically crashes when opened. Even after deleting it then reinstalling it time after time. BIG FAIL!!

Terrible App.
This app is so unreliable. If i swipe over to the widgets and I see a story im interested in, if i tap the story to read it the app opens up then hangs. So i can’t get a story to load from the widget.
Lately the app won’t even load. I have tried to launch it on both my iPad Pro and iPhone 11 and it won’t load. Just get the 680 splash screen and the wheel spins forever.

Idk about others but I’m using an iPhone SE and 8 plus and this app works just fine, the live news works perfect and all news up to date so I recommend this app if u don’t have access to television or a radio 😏😂

Avoid
If you want news notifications, it’s great, but if you actually want to read the article you better do so within 25 seconds or you will be taken back to the apps home screen. Extremely frustrating. Seems like the app has an auto refresh feature for news but it refreshes the entire app regardless if you are in an article or not.
Do not recommend wasting space or bandwidth to download.

Not working after updating!
I just update a new software from Apple.. Now the Radio doesn’t work.when you press the speaker button on 680 news app don’t work. Just black out and return back to regular screen 😂👎👎👎

Always crashing
On iPhone X with iOS 13.4, every time you tap on the speaker icon to start the live radio, the app momentarily gets black screen and it crashes. This is a new development, after updating to new iOS. Earlier the app radio worked well.

...With a few bugs after last update. The development team has been really good about pushing updates over the years, so not too concerned. The one bug annoying me currently is where my iOS clock disappears while in the app. But like I said, it’s my « browse while eating breakfast app » - probably my most used app, by time spent.

The app will not open at all, has been like this for awhile now, January 24 update did not correct this. Does not open on either my Iphone or Ipad.
Just discovered that the web page for 680news.com will not open on my laptop computer either! Perhaps it is time for 680 news to hire a new technical team!

Was good before update
Now almost unusable after last update. After you read and article and try to go back, it freezes (using back arrow or back gesture). Have to shut down app and relaunch to get working again. Using latest OS on iPhone 6s.

The app has not been working for weeks. After several emails nothing has been done. I’ve deleted and reinstalled with same issues. When I click on a 680news link (from 680news) the app opens then closes down. Not asking for much just want the app to work.

Crashed as soon as it started
I have an iPad mini 4. I clicked on the app and it tried to play a video ad, in full screen, but it exited after about half a second. I tried several times with no luck. This used to work, but recently I updated my iOS. I now have 13.1.3. I haven’t tried this app for awhile, so it likely hasn’t been working since version 13.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this app is such a bundle of fecal matter that I can’t help myself. Crashes constantly, uses data for commercials (that work) but then crashes (surprise) when you get to the story, auto loads things I never clicked on.
Long story short, don’t get it.

Almost Nuseless
This app is dreadful. It invariably jumps out of any story one is attempting to read back to the top of the main list of items.
If there is a video in a story, it often plays without being invoked, and then takes control of the app, usually causing the app to go into a sort of seizure. The only way to regain any semblance of control is to force quit the app. And control lasts only a few seconds until the app goes spontaneously berserk again.
Ironically, this behaviour prevents the app provider from receiving feedback. When I tried to give feedback in the app, it of course quickly jumped out of that page, thus erasing all of my attempts to write any comments.
This is a great pity, because the news provided is actually credible and objective. At least the first few sentences of any article are. I rarely have been able to read an entire article.

Keeps closing recently after iOS update!
Worked great for the past couple months then all the sudden starting two weeks ago, it’ll try to open it and then crash and exit out. There hasn’t been an update in ages for this app but I did update my iOS. That could be the problem! Please fix!

Entire mobile experience is terrible.
Mobile app freezes often and forces a video add to listen online. It’s radio - why are you forcing me to watch a video. Furthermore, it’s awesome when you’re stuck forced to watch a :30sec spot then the app loads to :60secs of radio commercials. Figure out your user experience- it currently sucks.
Oh - same criticism of the mobile web webplayer experience. Maybe investigate audio ads if you’re really insistent on making ad dollars through this platform.

Last year, it worked well. Now, it will crash very often on my iPad mini 4. When I turned it off, several minutes later, I could not turn on 680 news again. I have to delete it, re-download it again. Please fix the problem. Thanks
