Want to focus better on what you're doing? Focus Time is a beautifully designed timer for people who want to avoid distractions and get more done.

Want to eliminate the anxiety of time and enhance your focus and concentration?
The key is to apply yourself to tasks by working in units of 25 minutes, separated by short breaks of 5 minutes.
The steps are:
1. Choose a task to accomplish
2. Start timer
3. Work until timer rings
4. Take a short break
5. Every 4 sessions, take a longer break
Focus Time will automatically switch between the work timer and the long/short break timers, as well as counting the number of sessions you've completed. You can select an activity and see a graph of how you're spending your time.
Don't worry about taking a call or switching to another app while using Focus Time - the timer will carry on running even in the background.

Great except for 1 thing
I love this app. It'd be perfect and totally worth the money if the OSX--iOS sync functioned properly. If you guys fix that I'll be happy to give you 5 stars.

Can not add previous days in history if using iOS 8.
Please update.
Also, if a I leave the app running a pomodoro in background and don't open the app until next day it counts that pomodoro in next day instead of when it actually happened.

Best pomodoro app by far!
This app both for iphone and for mac, work fluently. It is exactly what you need - counts as it should, you can plan how many you will do a day, you have the statistics that work great, the sync between the mac app and the iphone works great via dropbox or iCloud. You can decide if it will start automaticly or not each pomodoro and break, you can decide when to reset the count automaticly every day. In short, it is really the best I tried, and I tried a lot! All of them have a flaw or many, and this one is the only that is perfect for me. The only small problems I find (that can be easily fixed) where that you don’t have enough sounds, and that you don’t have shortcuts. The developper told me he’s working on it for the next update…

Okay app but needs work. For the price more updates and features should be released regularly and UI needs cleaning up. App has a lot of potential.

Just the features I was looking for
Simple, visually appealing, you can reset to skip the break if you're on a roll, and set the breaks and Pomodoros to start manually or automatically. Continues to count when the iPhone screen is asleep or you are using another program. It does drain battery life if you leave the app open since the screen is on, but any app will do that.

Not a universal app?
When I work, my iPhone is in my pocket, but my iPad is out in landscape mode. This app is unusable in that configuration.

Does exactly what it should
Update: after some (unnecessary) extensions, the app works reliably again. I maintain my 5 star rating.
I am just beginning with the Pomodoro technique, but the necessary tools seem simple enough, so that I venture a rating for this app. I have been using on my iPad 3 since a week and it works flawlessly. I like the flexibility to adapt the pomodoro and break duration. Also, it shows a statistics of finished pomodoros over a certain period, it is useful that the number of finished pomodoros can be changed, for instance if one misses one.
I wish it could show more than 8 pomodors on the main screen, but since it records as many as one has done, it is not a serious issue.

Great Pomodoro App
I've tried several Pomodoro apps and this is my favourite. The visual countdown is great for quick, non distracting checks.
Suggestions:
- have option to turn off ticking during breaks.
- have option to remove pause option (you shouldn't be able to pause a Pomodoro). I know some people like it, but it give me an option.
- have option to switch to long break or short break while on break timer. I often have to break my Pomodoros differently than in chunks of 4. So every 4th Pomodoro isn't necessarily a long break with others the short break.

Great app!
I love this app. I like that you can pause it if you need to unlike another Pomodoro app that I had tried previously. I also like that it keeps track of the history of how many you did daily. I really wish you didn't lose the ticking though when it locks. Love the app but I REALLY wish this could be fixed! Overall though it is a great help with my productivity!

Nice UI but expensive
It's sooo close but the developers need to test more before releasing. And for the price, new features should be released more often. Like choosing your own alarm sounds, recording tasks.

This tool and the Pomodoro Technique have completely changed how I work. I'm now dramatically more productive and couldn't be happier about it! Thank you. Well worth the price (especially since the Pomodoro Technique book is free)!

Unnecessary battery draining
Works as advertised, and nicely designed, but it seems to drain my phone's battery pretty heavily for something that is, essentially, a clock.

Doesn't work as promised!
In theory would work well but the alarm does not sound at the appropriate time ( at the end of the work period to indicate break time starting). For the price paid, I was expecting this app to be functional!

Clean and simple
Great look, easy to use, expansive.
It is true to say that letting the iPhone go to sleep is a problem.
However, it is the best Pomodoro App that I have found.

Automatic is nice, but can use some work.
First off, I like the whole automatic thing. It starts the break automatically.
The one problem that makes this almost useless to me is that the alarm does not activate at the right time if I put my screen on sleep. I tried quitting the app and starting over, and even changing the time. The alarm still manage to activate at the wrong time. For instance, the alarm goes off to tell me I can take a break 3 minutes into my break. THis is broken imo. I have to set my phone to never sleep.
The price is also quite steep for what it does. It's even a greater burn in the wallet when the app does not work.
