Good app, sometimes wind speed is inaccurate and does not update frequently though not the fault of the app.

It is helpful to have a "Forecast" but accuracy is always a 50/50. Wish I knew more about how the forecast is calculated.

Used to be useful
I’ve given this app 3 updates to stop crashing because I used to like it. However, even after the update this morning, the app crashes as soon as i try to search a location. Too bad they can’t get it together.

Great app, accurate predictions
Have been using the app for a week or two and find it more accurate then many other weather apps. Great for predicting wind (obviously) and good for precipitation and temp as well. Great to help you know when you might fly your RC plane/chopper/drone. :)

Love this app
I check wind speeds and direction daily with this app, since it’s not just precip and temp that affect my outdoor activities. Before a weekend canoe trip, I save the wind forecast, especially to plan the paddle of the last day.

This is a great nav aid and we use it daily. Sometimes it isn't site specific accurate regarding current wind conditions. Perhaps a user data input feature could be added so the I could accurately post wind conditions at my current location.

Too bad #2- now repaired ?
It was working very well all year on iPhone 6s . Last week it announced that I could buy fancy info. I was actually out sailing- not in the landlubbers office. So I ignored it- (you know I was actually needing it to be instantly reliable.)

Gee, what do ya know, it suddenly starts working after I just sent in this crappy review.

NOW: June 7, it has a map showing and no wind Bouys, no info... it has lots of adverts on the bottom. The menus get no info... Just spin.... So I guess the Accounting Dept has ruined it all... They has just lost this consumer Sailor.

Awesome
I fish a lot. I rely on windcast to to give me accurate forecast. It can be amazingly accurate and when people pay you to take them fishing it gives them the best experience with the least discomfort of Mother Nature. Also much more accurate then marine forecast.

Watch the Wind!
Incredibly useful to keep tabs on the wind velocity. I use it out on my boat and also to gauge potential negative impact on my waterfront property. Love it.

Don't buy an account
I bought an account to support this great app, but it constantly prompts me to log in, and settings are not saved from your last login, so after logging in you must go into settings every time to turn off the ads.
Great app, but a subscription is useless.

Great. I wish you could get rid of the annoying ads
Great app. It plots results from all my local wind meters in one spot. Impressive because some of the wind meters are hard to find.
My only complaint is the ads are terrible. They are super intrusive and clash with the app.

Great wind info tool
This is a great tool to get local wind conditions. Has good links to marine stations for added info. The forecasts for next 24 hours are also useful. Definitely useful for pleasure boaters. GUI takes a bit of getting used to.

Programme utile et fiable
Demeurant sur le bord du fleuve St-Laurent, j'utilise ce programme quotidiennement. Ses informations sont précises et exactes. Elles nous permettent de naviguer en sécurité et de prévoir les changements atmosphériques compte tenu du type d'embarcation utilisées. Même en hiver, certaines informations m'aident à expliquer les changements quant au déplacement des glaces.
Cette application est très recommandable.

Great app!
I use this app all the time when I go hunting. Does sometimes crash but it's not an unusable issue.
I find the wind is extremely accurate. In fact, I use exclusively to decide when & where I'm going to go in the bush.
