Inconsistent
App is terribly inconsistent. Sometimes it opens, other times not. Sometimes it allows you to go back to previous screen, other times it forces you to shut down to app to get it to work. It needs definite improvement.

Notifications super slow from camera’s
People drive into yard. Park their car come into the house then minutes later we get the notification that they were detected by the camera. Useless!

The app doesn’t even work half the time. My car got stolen and we thought that this alarm system would be of use. Unfortunately it’s useless. This is so sad. Those who cannot afford too much hope that alarm system cameras would be useful.

Near impossible to update billing info
Cant change billing info on app. Calls fluent for 1 hour cannot connect to an agent. Tried online live chat, they cant help you either, gives you another number to call.

Good Security App...Maybe, Sometimes
Sometimes it arms the system when asked to, sometimes it says it does, but it doesn't. The same goes when disarming it.
Sometimes it says a sensor is open or closed, when it really isn’t. Then when arming the system asks if you want to bypass those sensors. Seems shady to me...
You would think by having to pay for this service it would actually work the way they describe it to!!
I continue to sit on hold while waiting for a Telus rep to pass me off to an Alarm.com rep and back again so they can blame each other for the issue.

Great looking app. Too bad the app doesn’t deliver on what it offers. Tried to peek in on event history, with no luck. Camera does not engage and deliver pictures as promised. Another app that overpromises and underdelivers.

It doesn’t work well and it prone to glitches.
There all these bad reviews on here sandwiched with what I expect are bots giving fake good reviews.
Here’s my take:
Arm disarm works okay. There are times when you check the app and it doesn’t update what another user did right away. There can be confusion if the system is armed or disarmed.
Video interface is terrible. Setting up detection zones on the latest iPhone is buggy and pain staking. Zooming in on the video can cause it to close. My favourite is you have a need to check something and that seems to be the point where the camera just fails to connect or the screen stays grey.
Recording is hit or miss. Despite detection zones. There
App needs significant improvements. Unfortunately with some security companies you don’t get much of a choice in apps.

Deletes saved videos randomly
My saved videos, even those marked as protected, regularly get deleted for no reason as I am nowhere near the storage limit. If I attempt to manually record a video, the app says it is recording but it never actually records anything. Motion triggered recording works fine.

Unreliable
Every single time I try to view the doorbell camera a Grey screen comes up and never allows for me to see who’s at my door. Terrible app picks when it wants to work. Highly disappointed.

Suite au changement du mot de passe principal, une reconfiguration complète de l’application a été nécessaire et les utilisateurs secondaires n’ont pas accès au tableau de bord du système, malgré que l’utilisateur principal ait permis l’accès au tableau de bord... Seul un avertissement pour un détecteur désactivé et la météo s’affiche sur l’écran d’accueil. Aucune commande ou état du système n’est accessible.

Rating for this app and the company
I have been with this company for years and had no problem with service or anything until it was sold. I have had my system at our home now for 12 years and for 1 year I have had nothing but problems with it. From having the police at my door in the middle of the night saying my alarm is going off.. when it’s not and no call from the monitoring station. To driving down the road and the alarm system going off and there’s no problem two sensors not working now smoke detectors
The list goes on and they have been NO HELP solving these problems. You can not even reach anyone on the phone it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to even talk to a person.
Very disappointed with this company now

Set up the secure passcode/two step verification and have it set up so when new devices try and log in, security code is needed. This will help prevent any type of unauthorized users to use your camera.

Has slowed way down
Recently this app has slowed down so much it’s almost unusable. It seems to be just in the last few months. My in home tech is fine, it’s the response time from even opening the app to having the app do anything. I’ve used this app for 5 years it’s had some hick ups but this is awful.

To: Developers- Please fix these glitches...
This happens at least weekly:
1) ARMING: App will say armed sometimes when the panel itself isn’t even armed. Which isn’t very safe if I’ve left my house and am trying to arm my panel while away. Please fix this false security issue.
2)DISARMING: the opposite problem happens. App will still say the alarm is armed even when I’ve disarmed. Meaning my panel is actually is disarmed but the app is giving a false ready.
Other than these issues that happen sometimes the app can be a convenient way to arm and disarm. Once these glitches are rectified then I think it will get 5 stars.

Dreadful
This app is now being used by the newly TELUS owned Canadian ADT. Telus continues with it’s abusive, neglectful customer service. You are paying high fees for a do it yourself service. If you have the time and patience to get through to human being ‘help’(the ‘unusual call volume’ shtick 24 hours per day) then you have the time and patience to instal and manage your own system. Plus you could use batteries that don’t run out in three months. Avoid.

App Broken Since Telus Update
App will not disarm panel any more. Will hang at disarm and than prompt an error stating command not recognized. Also doesn’t recognized the current status of the panel, when the panel shows as disarmed the app is still showing as armed. When running an arm command may take up to a minute to execute the command and notify
Before anyone asks, yes app has been reinstalled and yes it is happening on multiple devices within my household.
Not something I really want to trust the safety of my family with all this false information.

I see all the bad reviews and to me that seems like its user error or the customers equipment. My parents use this and I use it when they are away. Its easy and videos load fast. Can arm/disarm without any issues. No idea what people are complaining about. Theyre likely trying to run a full smart home plus the app on a 15mbps download and 3mbps upload speed from their isp. Please understand technology before using it and failing at it it and then blaming everything but yourselves.
