There are mandatory updates every couple weeks that lock you out.
If my family didn’t use WhatsApp, then I’d gladly uninstall.
Not even to mention all privacy concerns, considering WhatsApp is an entity of Meta (facebook).

The app should be logged out or go offline when the phone is offline . It is not convenient to logout from the app and scan the code bar each time to login ,otherwise it is a nice app. I stopped using it for this reason.

The chats I’ve kept from 2023-2025 were all gone in one day.
All my chats and important info gone just because I couldn’t remember my password and said if I reset it won’t restore at all. I’ve been saving those since 2023 and it all went down the drain. I didn’t feel the same after that. I hated even going to WhatsApp and replying to messages because all the chats are deleted. Useless. do better and give your ciders many options to restore their chats after an accidental delegation of the app. I had backup turned on daily too yet nothing was saved. Useless

One annoying thing with whatsapp is the absence of control over accepting a group invitation. Anyone can create a group and add you , giving you no choice to accept or decline . Additionally, the option to block a group just like u block a single user should be available.
