I used this app a number of years ago for work. We moved to a more Microsoft centric environment so I had to leave. I am retired now and was looking around for a todo app I can use no. I came across a YouTube listing several different apps and this was one of them. Download and found out I still had a pro accounts and love the look and features, I am back!!! (I did have a number of tasks that where in the 1000’s overdue, but I guess don’t have to worry about that now... Look forward to being organized, busier than ever in retirement.

App is crashing
My app has been crashing. It doesn’t load, I see the opening screen and then it crashes. I can use it maybe a couple of times a day. Is it only for a limited number of tasks? I cannot find a way to contact support for any of the apps including iPray pro etc. I was very happy with the app but I am leaving this review in the hope someone sees it and contacts me to fix the error.

Very useful
The app makes it easy to enter tasks and find them. I love how you can filter by different criteria: like work tasks, urgent tasks, email tasks... just as a warning, you’ll need to buy separate licenses for iPhone and desk top.

Everything I need, every day
Even though its UI doesn’t match up to the slick apps like Things or Todoist, 2Do is my go-to life management app. What it lacks in modern design it more than makes up for in flexibility and customization. I downloaded the trial/free versions of all of the major GTD/to-do apps and compared them in real life use for about a week; pretty much every possible use-case I have is covered by 2Do, and I found the others lacking in major areas.
I love that I can configure it to only show overdue tasks based on time of day — I don’t want to wake up and have an overdue badge on the app icon for a task I can’t do until the evening.
The nag alerts are a life saver for tasks that must be done on time, and the recurrence tools are almost perfect (I would still love the ability to schedule a task for “the 3rd Saturday of the month, every 3 months”).
I recently migrated from Due to 2Do for managing all the tasks and scheduled events of my life, and I plan to stay here indefinitely.

Amazing features but no dark mode?
I’ve been using 2Do for years and it helps me keep incredibly organized. My only issue...there is no dark mode on the iOS versions for iPhone and iPad. When will this be coming out?

One of the best, but looks dated
Hello, thanks for an awesome and well thought out app. I would give 5 stars if the app had a more feel & look. I have used 2Do for more than six years, and now it's time for an upgrade! The interface looks dated and feels SO 2014 😅
I just crave something a little more modern and light. You don't even have to change the setup, just give us more colour options, something more sleek & modern! 🤗

Subscription crap
I bought this app last year to get the “full HD ultra pro version”.... now I get an ad asking for a one time payment of 35% off I can buy the pro version instead of having to do a subscription. Seriously man? I am going to pay a monthly subscription for a todo list? I am so sick of this marketing crap

Still the best task manager app available!
I have used just about every task manager available for iOS and I keep coming back to 2Do. It has the best overall combination of features, ease of use and great apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and MacOS. I highly recommend 2Do!

Would be nice if 2Do supported iCloud Drive
As is I have to use Dropbox for full sync features and is the only reason I keep it installed on my MacBook at home. They same sync feature should be available if they used iCloud Drive.

Been using pro version for years now. Have never even considered looking for a different todo app, as this one is perfect. It can be used as a simple todo list or for more complex projects—your choice. Very stable. Syncs with all my devices. Highly recommend.

A good app that's not being updated anymore
This app has amazing features and I've used it a lot over the years. But the developer isn't making major investments in it any longer. There's no support for dark mode or Siri integration. It's so frustrating that you can't use Siri to create a task--it can't interpret "two-do".
Response to developer: I am speaking about 3.14. Siri does not recognize "to do" as meaning "2do" and the Siri shortcut only seems to open 2do at a new task, not create a task.

Intuitive to use, very elegant!
I tried them all and this app wins in every department: it’s simple enough that it’s intuitive to use, yet elegant and beautiful. I have not tapped into all its features but for my uses, this app is not over engineered and has become a part of my daily life. I’d LOVE to see a dark mode released in the future.

Excellent list app
I have been using this app for several years and think it is the best To Do app available. I sync it on drop box and use it both on my iPhone and iPad. It will not sync with your laptop the way I currently sync. There is more functionality and depth than I can ever use, and have adapted my lists to use at work and privately. Currently there is a small issue on my iPhone but these things have always been cleared up with updates. I will not use another app.

Great task management app! When my last “to do” app decided to “upgrade” its users to their “sync service”, a friend recommended 2Do and I gave it a try. It turned out that 2Do does all I used the other app for and that it does it better!

Terrible marketing
This should have been an easy 5 star review. I really like the iPad and iPhone version and it has a lot of great things going for it. I wanted to try it on my Mac to see how well everything syncs. However, when I try to download the Mac version from the website the only way I can do this is if I give Beehive Innovations permission to use my email for marketing purposes. Without checking the box that says “Beehive solutions may send me product updates and offers via email.” Really, in this day and age to REQUIRE someone to opt into product updates and offers via email seems like a terrible marketing decision. Oh well, back to Things.

App has become stagnant.
It seems that the developer has stopped releasing new features for the app, unfortunately, and is simply maintaining it at this point. In some cases, even simple updates can take weeks or months (e.g. iPad Pro support). The design itself has also shown it’s age and lacks any kind of customization (e.g. no dark mode, themes, etc.).

Design and UI seems outdated. Flow is cumbersome and unintuitive. I struggle using it. Too many steps to create to do with a reminder. Looking for alternative.

THE BEST LIST THAT KEEPS GETTING BETTER WITH EACH UPDATE
Have had this for years and am amazed as to how much additional functionality they keep adding. Unlike many Apps I really like how you can have sublists within groups.
So for example I can have a list called Work and another called Personal and another called Home Repair for example. Within each group I can have sublists of tasks and a list of detailed tasks within each sublist. In this respect, i can manage detailed individual projects each with the own list of task. Tags allow me to assign individuals or remind me who to discuss or follow up with.
Error free syncing between devices means can update or add to tasks, projects or folders and it auto updates on the other devices.
Only one Beef - PLEASE DEVELOP AN APP FOR WINDOWS 10 as I have to use a different and inferior one!!!

Exactly what I was looking for
I love the Panel on the left allowing you to toggle between different lists. As a visual person, this helps me out tremendously and is the key differentiator for me buying the pro version of this as opposed to using some of the other todos out there.
Tons of options and everything is intuitive.

Simply the Best - Don’t Hesitate
I didn’t need iOS 12’s new screen time feature to know that I use this app a lot - it’s simply THAT good. It dovetails so well with David Allen’s Getting Things Done (GTD) system, and makes tracking all kinds of tasks simple and quick. It’s no exaggeration to say that GTD and this app have saved my sanity and helped me lead a more organized, calm life.

Helpful tool
I find the 2Do app very helpful to use for managing both recurring and one time to do items. My only concern is that it seems to stop notifying me of new items if I fail to open the app for a few days.

I’ve tried so many to do apps and there’s something about this one that speaks to me. I only wish it worked on PC so that I could use it for work. I need something that I can use on my iPhone and on my laptop at work... Wunderlist has the best cross platform options, but I just can’t get in to it. The day they release a version for the web on PC is the day I give this 5 stars

I have had to stop using this app. It quits on startup on a regular basis and sync causes doubling of tasks. I need something more reliable to track the work I do.

The recent version has brought me back. It does everything I need. It would be nice to see a larger font size as even the large font is not large enough for some of the people I would love to recommend it to.

As good as it gets on iOS and Mac OS.
I've purchased and tried COUNTLESS 'todo' apps over the last 10 years of iOS. While there are other apps with features I like better, such as Todoist's collaboration, Wunderlist's incredibly fast sync or Things design, there is simply nothing that beats 2Do. If you want a simple task manager, you can use it as a simple task manager. If you need something to handle more complex tasks and projects, you will struggle to find anything more capable.
To get it out of the way, this app does not support collaborative lists and sharing/assigning tasks to others. If you NEED that feature, then this will not fulfill your personal use case. For me, I don't require that feature anymore. I found it too hard to convince others to change what they were using, just to make my life easier. Haha. I collaborate with friends and coworkers in others ways now instead, so we can each use our 'todo' apps of choice. I could recommend Slack, or OneNote if you are looking to collaborate with others.
I have found that most times, when I think "I wish I could do this....", that it is in fact possible. The amount of options and customizations are so far beyond anything else I have found. Though it doesn't come across as being complicated to use. It's intuitive, and user friendly. Most of the settings have descriptions to help you understand exactly what they will do.
I have gotten used to the Dropbox sync, which seems to have gotten better. It's the most feature filled of all the syncing options. Initially I was very irritated with all of the desktop notifications on MacOS while 2Do was syncing files. I didn't want to forfeit all of my Dropbox notifications, as they are very useful when sharing documents and collaborating with others. Did some digging and then I found instructions on the developers website to solve this annoyance. So there goes that little irritation. Solved.
To emphasize how good the app is, here are my top 3 things I wish were better. If these are the biggest problems I have, then it must be good!
1) To nitpick, I don't love the shade of blue that the app primarily uses. I find it a bit drab. Wish it was a different shade, or have the option to customize it like some other colours. Of course I realize this is personal preference and you cant please everyone. But it's a bit out of place when compared to the current design language that iOS is at, and most other apps. This gives the impression that the app is out of date and neglected. However, the app is not neglected, but rather is updated and cared for regularly.
2) I also wish that the Apple Watch version was more capable. A complication would be fantastic. I read that this is in the works, but lower on the priority list. (Update: NOW ADDED! Thank you!)
3) Would be nice to be able to add tasks using Siri. Or alternatively have it automatically pull tasks from a list in Apple's Reminders app, accomplishing a similar thing. (Update: NOW ADDED! Thank you!)
This app is well worth the money if you are looking to organize your life and tasks. Start and End dates, durations, tags, locations, alerts, task actions, sub tasks with their own alert options, filtering. The list is endless.
Buy it now and stop wasting your valuable time looking for something better. You wont find anything.

Excellent! Great customer service!
Before the update, I received a notification on my Apple Watch that the 2Do app will no longer be supported in the future versions of WatchOS. I tweeted this to the author. He responded quickly with “working on it as we speak :)”
Today the app was updated with many fixes and new features. This is an app that gets lot of updates. It shows the dedication the author has put into supporting his work. Kudos to you! Please keep up the great work!

Best “list” app out there but because it doesn’t sync seamlessly with iCloud for my iPad & iPhone I’m going to have to delete it. Dropbox sync is too awkward & totally unnecessary with the cloud.

First time really testing it out...
...looking very good so far.
I’ve yet to try out the macOS app - if the iOS app is any indication of the macOS version, I may switch to 2Do from my current mess of todo’s scattered here and there. I’m a little apprehensive of the macOS price tag, but since trying out this app, I’m starting to reevaluate getting a SetApp subscription to get the macOS 2Do app too - that’d give me a couple of apps I use anyways... (too bad I didn’t know about SetApp before my last couple of desktop app purchases).
The iOS 2Do app has a fair bit of flexibility yet is clearly focused on doing a single thing well, namely todo’s - it’s refreshing to see that. I generally like the ability to have nested or sub-todo’s, however this app has elegant options to meet this need (projects, checklists, groups, tags)while not compromising in other aspects (ie not becoming rigid and not tying in to yet another pay-forever backend service).
I like what I see in the app and in the online support documentation - I think this app will work well for me.
