I was told in order to add a boarding pass to my Wallet I would first need to download the app. I had to register, at which point I was told that fields marked “optional” were in fact required. After a lengthy registration process I was sent an activation email. I tried signing in and receive an error message stating that the action was currently unavailable. Please update your process to the 21st century bc every other airline in the world is able to just send me a quick pass for my wallet.
Don’t bother downloading this app, just fly with Air Canada instead!

I was unable to check in 24 hours prior and spoke to 3 different people to get the problem resolved.
Was on line holding for 50 minutes before I got a very nice lady, Nicki C, who was finally able to help me out.
The 50 minute wait was ridiculously long. It would be much better to have a live person on line to communicate with and resolve technical issues.

Either your software engineers have comprising photos of management or they’re just incompetent. It is very disappointing that BA decides to choose a middle seat for me and not allow me when checking in to change my seat for free knowing that there are multiple empty seats in the flight. Never seen anything like it. Some people for different reasons can not sit in certain seats and should not be forced by the airline to sit in a seat that they chose for them. Very very disappointing.

Of many user unfriendly malfunctions and illogical processes, it does not let you change seats once you check in which is ridiculous.

I booked a british airways flight to athens on line on flight hub. Nowhere in my booking did it say that the ticket did not include a checked bag. On checking in online I found out my expensive ticket did not include a checked bag! How does anyone visit another country without a checked bag? On my leg to athens I was charged $60 CAN online for a checked bag which is extortionate. On my return flight when I tried to pay the additional baggage online it would not allow me to pay the one leg. The app kept on charging me for the leg I already paid. The BA staff were completely unhelpful.I gave up in the end reduced to tears. I was charged 75 euros for my bag at the desk which is absolutely outrageous! It wrecked the end of my holiday where I had gone to Greece to see family! I will never fly British airways again.I have flown to over 50 countries and this is by far the worst experience I have had.

App has encountered glitches that prevented progress: won’t accept mobile number if there are dashes, no error message, just can’t proceed (work-around: enter number without dashes); and blank screen when trying to check in (work-around: used desktop browser instead).
The first time I used the app, to pay for seat selection, I got an email two weeks later from BA warning me that my credit card and all personal details had been stolen by a hacker. I had to go through the hassle of canceling and replacing my credit card.
My overall impression has been highly unfavourable.

Designed to make you login (and register etc...) although you don't have to, there are ways around it.
But the worst part was that while trying to check in to my flight, it prompted me to add passport and info related to where I'm "staying" in the USA, but I wasn't going to nor through the US on any of my flights! The app wouldn't let me check in until I wrote down a US address, with a real zip code so I wrote down a random hotel in a city I'm not even flying to. Why would the app think this or ask for this info? No idea.
It also didn't give me the option to email mobile boarding passes to the other travellers on my trip, it would only let me save their boarding pass to MY phone...? -What! So now the person I'm travelling with, doesn't even get to hold her own boarding pass! How is this acceptable?

The app is functional most of the times and works well, however, following are the sticking points:
- inability to do multiple city bookings
- inability to search with local discount offers
- cannot check in on connecting flights together if the 24hr mark has not been reached. For example, JED-LHR-YUL - the app will not let you check in for the LHR-YUL leg until it’s within 24hrs for the flight. To go around this, you need to check in on a PC.
