‣ Can I edit the text in the app?
I don't plan to support any editing. Export the transcription and edit it in a proper text editor.
‣ Why is the app so large?
The app delivers the highest quality transcription on the market for 100 different languages. Rather than asking why it's so large, the real question is how is it so small.
‣ Why is the transcription so slow?
The app favors accuracy over speed. However, performance is expected to improve in the coming months.
‣ Why must I keep the iOS app open while it transcribes?
iOS apps are fundamentally restricted from operating in the background for extended periods.
‣ Can I delete some of the languages to save space?
This is unfortunately not possible. The model has all the languages stored together in a way that makes it impossible to remove just some languages.

Great for voice memos
When I have ideas I need to jot down, just record a voice memo then let Aiko translate so I can file away easily. Not solving world hunger here but great little efficiency tool.

Hands down the best recording app out there! With its seamless interface and powerful transcription feature, turning audio into text is a total breeze. Highly recommended!

Choose your computer wisely with this
On my Imac I9 with 8core and 24GB ram it takes I see abround 2 hours for a half hour mp3 to trnascription - On My Iphone 12 it akes about 6 minutes for the same file. Yep 6m vs 2 HRS!

Great APP and it;s free
This App is amazing and just helped me pass my course. I had a bunch of video lectures that i wanted to gerneate notes out of and this App, trnascibed the whole video series for me so I dont have to type everything out.
It does consumes a lot of power and Memory and my macbook became quite hot but other than that it did what it was supposed to do and hopefully it can be better optimized in the future.

Love this app for transcribing interviews
The whisper.ai framework is a game changer for transcriptions and this app is simple, private, and accurate. It take a bit of time to do the transcription, but it’s worth it! The number of errors we need to manually change is sooo much fewer than older methods.
