Under the surface this is a great car collecting and upgrading tuner game, lots of events and customization but to get the that point one needs to go through an annoying learning curve, the game needs better explanations of mechanics and systems. Not really worth the time

An honest game review coming from a video game critic
Apex racer is definitely one of the best games in its class with high end graphics, huge attention to detail and massive potential however the game has had a few issues one of which being the fact that there’s still a lot of bugs in the game. I purchased some gold for around $13.00 cad and while I was able to spend it, the game kept on glitching afterwards and I wasn’t able to put on nor take off parts I spent with my currency. it become so bad that I wasn’t even able to use my cars as the game would glitch or wouldn’t let me switch from each individual cars which made the game completely unplayable forcing me to delete the game. It also didn’t help that after I put in the special codes that give you gold I exited the game for around 10-15 minutes when I came on all the gold was gone. So while I do believe this game is good some of the bugs completely ruin the good factor of the game. Would be open for a response or even a message back.

Game is pretty great, but there's a bug where tournaments have about a 1/4 chance of freezing while loading and the only solution is to restart the game and lose all tournament investment. Not fun when that happens

As of the most recent update, the electric cars have all been performance-capped at 200 kph, from which the car’s acceleration takes a significant drop, making winning races impossible. No amount of performance tweaking solved the issue which was made more difficult due to the disabling of the Dyno. A good game otherwise, but fix this.

So many bugs and glitches. Absurd how the dev recommended solution is to hard save and reload the save from cloud every time the game inevitably bugs out.
And they have the audacity to put a 12 HOUR cooldown on reloading a save from cloud when it’s the only way to make their buggy game even playable.

It's OK
for what it is and knowing it's not a finished product. It's not half bad. But could use more optimization like a lot. Like Highway free Rome. Or going really really fast in a drag race. Not to mention the items and parts. Some of them are glitchy for example the rims in general when you do you selected from both wheels. Then try to reselect it it's just gone before you can do that. and in free room the AI could be improved especially the cop AI. Cause sometimes the ram the a vehicle fast enough then the flip over upside down. And then they start drawing force yet been backwards.

Good potential but buggy
Always lose part for no reason. When you buy a part it sometimes doesn’t appear or you equip a part a it ether disappear or you simply don’t see it and you can’t tell what you have equipped to the vehicle. I lost REAL money just to get nothing. Too buggy and I don’t advise people to buy anything with real money cuz you won’t get it back
