The BibleRef app contains verse-by-verse and chapter-by-chapter Bible commentary along with extensive cross references and context explanation all written by the GotQuestions.org team. For each verse in the Bible there are six different Bible translations, easy-to-understand commentary, and brief explanations of how the verse fits within its surrounding context. New content is published regularly and can be downloaded via the settings menu in the app.

Amazing!
I have been trying to get a better understanding of the bible for awhile, but let’s be honest it’s confusing at times, so I used to search up commentaries of verses I didn’t understand. I originally found the online version of this, but I kept accidentally closing the browser with the link, so I downloaded this app. The explanations are a simple and straightforward, and it seems like there is an explanation for every verse!! Love it!
