Can't receive SMS code to register

Was told by tech support here that my SMS codes are being blocked by my cell provider. I'm in Canada with Virgin and never had this happen before. Other SIM providers allow for SMS codes to be received not just through cell, but WhatsApp and email.

Coverage

It has a good coverage in Europe but DO NOT use it for Dominican Republic, no coverage no internet and calls don’t connect at all, there’s a automated message when you dial and then disconnects. It was a waste of money for it

Great deal, better customer service

First time using an e-sim, definitely not the last!

We are in the UK, visiting from Canada. A friend recommended we give it a try. Works great using Whatsapp for messaging. Can use safari and other phone functions effortlessly. Saved us about $300cdn from our carrier. Easy to install. Will use on our next trip without a doubt!

Excellent eSIM for Travel!

I recently used a Sim Local eSim for a 3-week trip and I was very happy with my experience! Setup through the app was easy and the connection speeds were fast. I bought a 20GB eSim that lasted 30 days, so I didn’t have to worry about running out data on my trip. I was constantly connected to the fastest networks and didn’t have to worry about incurring roaming fees from my home mobile provider. I highly recommend this app and their eSims. I’ll be using Sim Local again the next time I travel!

Data bought doesn’t match data used SCAMMY

I ran out of data so fast, which is odd because I bought 10 gigs…with this I used it up so quickly 😟… I checked my data usage in my phone said 5 GB used but the ap showed all used. I bought another ten Gs now my phone shows I used 6gigs but tell me why the app says I only have .5 gs left. This company is dishonest??? Scammy- I don’t recommend it

Good alternative

Recently tried this, typically travel on a number of trips a year where I would have previously purchased local SIM cards to avoid high roaming costs. This is definitely a great alternative, interesting to note that the eSIM had almost better coverage in most areas of Ireland I travelled to compared to my roaming sim card. Will definitely use again.

Comparable price to physical sims, with lots of plan options.
