APP FEATURES
- Noise Cancelling
High Pass and Low Pass filters remove background noise for a clearer experience.
- Voice Boost
Our static equalizer adjusts gains on certain frequencies to your needs, using your audiogram if you have one, enhancing sound clarity using NAL-NL2 or Half Gain rules depending on surrounding conditions.
Voice Boost also encompasses a compressor that rebalances loud and weak sounds.
- Audiogram input
You can input your audiogram by moving the dots on the audiogram chart. Your audiogram will then be used to adjust using different formulas (NAL-NL2 and Half gain rule. DSL will soon be added). You will have the ability to test the different sounds.
- Speech to text (in development - October release)
Using Google Speech-to-Text API, you will get the live transcript of your conversations on the screen of your phone in the language of your choice.
This feature will simply allow you to have a look at what was said if you missed something.
- AI features (in development – Dec 20/Jan 21 release)
Using Supervised Deep Learning techniques, training the app to isolate the voice of your loved ones. This technique will also be used to suppress more accurately background noise.

The phone being the microphone, the app is best used when the phone is directed towards the sound you are trying to hear. Typical use cases would be a meal with other people, watching a play, a movie.
To get the best results out of the app we recommend using noise cancelling headphones. Bluetooth headphones, because of slowness coming from Bluetooth can sometimes show a lag between the sound coming from the headphones and direct sound.
