Discover the easiest & quickest yet super powerful scanner on iOS. And it has OCR (text recognition, it creates TXT or PDFs with real text)! Here is how it works:
1. Scan with camera (automatic document detection & automatic angle correction), or pick an existing image or PDF to recognize text (OCR) on it.
2. Choose the quality of the export (PDF, JPG, or TXT) & preview the file size.
-- Enable Text Recognition (OCR) -- to perform copy/paste, search, or even selecting text in the generated PDF document.
3. Export the document anywhere (to Files, to any Drive, E-mail, message, Airdrop, ...)
There is no quicker way to beautifully scan & OCR a document.
Everything happens on your device, no internet connection is required.
Configure a smart default filename using dates, time, and text.
SUPPORTED LANGUAGES FOR OCR:

Incredible

This is an awesome app. I use it for quickly grabbing snippets from books. The OCR has been impeccable thus far, and the added bonus of being able to copy from my phone and then paste on my computer (iCloud copy and paste) is the icing on the cake!
Can’t believe this is free. Be sure to “tip” the developer in the app

Cette application pour moi prof de français au secondaire est un must. Elle me permet d’extraire le texte OCR et d’envoyer les textes à mes élèves en temps réel sur mon google drive. Comme j’ai plusieurs élèves ayant des mesures adaptatives avec logiciel de relecture c’est très aidant. Surtout en temps de pandémie/ télétravail

Easy to use!

This app makes it so seamless to take scans of images. I just open the app, scan it, and airdrop it to my mac and boom, its done.
It’s so easy to use and it’s good at what it does. The added pluses are that the app is completely free!
This app is definitely a must have and you don’t know what you’re missing until you’ve used it!

Best Free Scanner There Is!

Does everything you’d want a scanner to do! And it uses Apple’s own scanning API so it’s really fast and simple. I can’t think of any faults! Must try, and a must use for daily life :)

A fantastic free scanning app!

Much better than others / the default scanning function. One possible super cool feature would be to automatically detect the colour of the edge of the document and then fill in edges where the background might be visible because the page isn’t perfectly flat. Would take some finessing to get right but then this scanner would REALLY be a cut above the rest.
That said, for everyone else who isn’t the developer download it if you need a scanner, the OCR is a lovely feature and it works well.

Great simple app with great OCR

Simple app that does its job very well. OCR is as good as it gets and you can export the text to anywhere. Dev seems like a good guy and the app is no subscriptions, no tracking and no IAP (just an optional tip jar). Great stuff
