Only download if you want to be phoned every hour

I downloaded this app yesterday. Shortly after I downloaded it and set up my med schedule, I started to receive phone calls every hour at exactly 5 minutes past the hour. ID showed as Chuck from Max Audio. No number available, couldn’t see any other info, and every time I blocked the caller, it would automatically default back to not blocked. This went on until I became suspicious of the link between the app, the name, and the timing. I deleted the app and—amazingly—all the calls disappeared from my call log. What kind of scam is this??

Purrrfect!!

I wanted a simple app to help remind me of my dogs daily medication.. i have only been using it a few weeks and so far it’s GREAT!! exactly what I hoped for!!!!

Love it!!

It’s so fun, simple and EFFECTIVE. I love how if you ignore their reminder your kitty or doggy will call you on the phone to meow/bark at you to take your meds. Love! Love! Love!!

Phantom notifications

I have a medication I take in the morning and a different one I take at lunchtime, and the notification won’t go away unless I check off the lunch medication too early.

Reminded the first day only

I’ve set it up so it shows it knows I need to take the pill everyday. The only reminder notification I received is on the first day.

Max, the great attempt.

Max is a great helping to remember take your meds app. It is simple and a polite reminder. This is where Max fails. I mark Taken Meds but Max still sends a reminder text and call. Also I mark Taken Meds and later in the day, the Taken Meds is gone. Indicating I missed taking meds. I still like Max even though it is annoying at times. Note to the Developers, please tweak these small issues. It would make Max number one in the app world.
Update; Max stopped working. I tried reinstalling the app and it got worse. Now it only shows cover pic and does nothing else. I really like the concept of this app. It’s a shame it can’t deliver…

Cute idea, bad execution

There’s no snooze feature if you’re busy to remind you in a few minutes and the notifications are a pain to silence quickly, I downloaded a different one instead.

Offline

It turns out that this App needs Internet to function properly. It does not work in the Offline (Flight) Mode. Is this Cloud-based?

Only suggestion is when reminder pops up on Apple Watch it can be actioned on the watch also!
