Description
Fridge Buddy helps you reduce your food waste by alerting you when one of your products is nearing its expiration date.
Food waste is a bigger problem than people think, nearly one-third of all food produced in the world is wasted. Although these numbers may seems overwhelming, Fridge buddy can help you reduce this harmful practice.
HOW DOES IT WORKS ?
All you need to do is scan the barcode for your different items in your fridge, freezer or pantry. Fridge Buddy is responsible for retrieving the information related to this products, the name and the photo. You can then indicate the expiration date if necessary.
For all the products that don’t have barcode, you can enter manually the product information and picture.
A few days (customizable interval) before the expiration date, you will receive a notification reminding you to consume this product.

- Two new widgets for iOS 14.
- You can now add a personalized photo even for items that already have a photo.
- The lists of products have been completely revised, you can now define the deadline and time of notifications for each list. You can also delete the default lists.
- The item number is now displayed on the item list if it is greater than 1.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where an article was duplicated when you modify it.
- Correction of a display bug on the cells of the item lists.
- Fixed a bug with the on boarding not showing on iPad on first launch.
- Fixed a bug on products sorting.
