I want to preface saying I have had good experiences with yellow cab which is why I gave it an average rating but not the best. But I have also gotten a couple of cabs cancelled or never booked because no one accepts the cab :( I know it isn’t the drivers fault but I hope that this issue can be fixed! Also with Uber now in Vancouver the prices have increased :( I also don’t think this is there fault but it’s unfortunate for someone who just wants a safe ride home.

Worst cab company ever.

If you’d made moves to improve before a decent competitor was allowed to join the market (despite crooked attempts to block them) you might have had a small chance:
But you didn’t. So will never be using you again.
Now we have Uber use them - a millions times better and the drivers seem much happier.

Uber and Lyft here I come.

Glad there is finally an app to hail cabs and pay. Moving from Toronto I found it shocking how hard it was to get a cab in Vancouver.
Great app! I hope you guys fix the holding of funds on credit card. It’s annoying having to check if all holds are released. Hope you fix in the following updates that will be released.

Gave inaccurate arrival times, we understand “long wait times during bad weather” but at least give an accurate time of arrival so we can find an alternative route.
Tried to call customer service on the phone and that was no help at all! The person on the other end didn’t even seem happy to help.
Cab drivers are nice but, the company needs to have more cabs on the road so we can get to our destinations on time.

- Added a star because ability to add a note to driver has been added in update
The negative:
- please allow booking times other than 00, 15, 45, 60! 5-10 minutes means a lot to me when I’m working
- no longer sends a confirmation of booking text or email - hard to trust the cab has actually been booked
- crashed 2x after updating
- doesn’t save addresses
- doesn’t recognize my street address - have to order to my next door neighbour (my house has been here for 80 years and every other search engine recognizes it)
- makes you click on “pay in car”, which means you have to go into a sub-menu, before being allowed to hit book. This should be default (and frankly I won’t trust the app with my credit card until it’s significantly less buggy)

So thankful I don’t have to use Yellow Cab!

Still surprised the can’t get this right. Won’t let me book anything. Tried deleting the app and reinstalling, I can put in pickup and destination and it won’t allow me to hit the book button.

Finally a decent app by a taxi company. More conveniences like this, and they will be far more competitive with Uber (it’s not about price, it’s about convenience and transparency). A great feature would be to see the locations of all cabs currently ‘for hire’.

The inability to make notes to the driver about where to pick up or who is being picked up, renders this app useless. You can not specify “rear pick up” for places that you cannot stop in front of, nor can you note that there are special needs for a passenger if necessary. This is not an improvement to this app. Neither is the requirement to indicate a destination.

It’s so much more complicated then the first app. You now HAVE TO put in a destination before you can book. And there’s no ‘drop-a-pin’ option for putting in a destination, which works for pick-up location; neither can you put in an intersection. It HAS TO be a specific address. And payment is preauthorized before any cab accept your booking! And there is no cab after all this. I grabbed one in the street in the end while looking at the app trying to find me a cab.
Will never used this again.
