No value for money, useless application

I don't write much reviews but for this I want to tell that this app is only made to charge you money.

The charges were 10 dollar for 7 day trial and 48 dollars for lifetime. So the second bait sounded better and I went for it, but when charged it deducted my card for 78 dollars for lifetime. Moreover, the application is made for kids and complete wastage of time. There is simple vocabulary that you might already know. Don't waste your money here.

Limited list of native languages

They should have made it clear that their native languages are limited or atleast give you an option to select “other” otherwise you cannot continue if your native language is not on the list. So not for me. One star for you.

Issues

A few issues:

1. The Chinese translations of English words are unnatural.

2. The intermediate level for English isn’t really harder than the beginner level. There should be more levels.

3. The word-booster ads are misleading in claiming that an English speaker could learn complex English vocab in this app. However, learning one’s native language is not an option here. Either add this option or remove the misleading ads.

Poor content and expensive

Poor content and pretty expensive for what the app can offer. I don’t recommend to any level. Translations are also not accurate. Lots of of to be done if this app wants to improve and offer better and more reliable content and learning methodology.

I used it to learn English from French and it’s terrible...they use google translator instead of a French speaker to translate their lessons. So it is quite funny to see how they have translated some words. It’s funny but not so good for learning.

Its not useful for me

Actually I spent about 80 CAD$ for this app but it doesn’t protect my native language which is FARSI and even you can’t select an english to english translate which is more professional for learning english and you should just be between 8 countries that the app supports them as a native language ... I’m really frustrated and sad about the money that i have spent on this app☹️

The sponsored ads for this app is misleading. It appeared to be an app to improve vocabulary, but when you first use the app it asks what your native tongue is with NO option to choose English or bypass the step. Now I’m forced to choose a language just to get into the app. Waste of time.

Native Language

My native language(Persian)is not listed and I have to choose another language! I understand it is hard to cover more languages but why you don't have English as a native language!

Let users try it for a couple of days before taking the money!

I paid 70$ but it can not support Farsi. It can not be useful for people that don’t know French or Germany or Spanish or Hindi or Russian. I asked them for refund my money. Hope they care my request 😩
