Awful

Terrible app! Been trying for weeks to log in and it’s nothing but an infinite loop of signing in. Everything is up to date, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app who knows how many times. Absolutely useless.

Impossible to login

Do better Rogers! I tried multiple times to login and get caught in a loop. Deleted and reinstalled app and same thing. For the amount of money you exploit from people for your services, you should at least be able to provide a 2 star user experience. Time to start looking at other ISP’s. Calling customer service and chat bots is a total waste of time.

I don’t have a device that can be updated to use this App

Apparently this is a great App. I wouldn’t know becauseI will have to purchase new iPhone and iPad in order to acces X finite. I wasn’t in the market for new gear. Not helpful. I also note earlier responses to people with the same issue having received a typical Rogers response which could be edited to remove the polite concern; which would then read “ we don’t really care what issues we have created for some customers, we make enough money from everybody else so this just fits with our business model”

Can’t login to the app

Stuck in a loop - attempt to login via email password, authenticate via email code, then brought back into the login page. Also I’ve read the string of bad reviews and idk why this still hasn’t been addressed given so many people are facing the same issue. The AI
/automated customer support keeps recommending the same fix - “try signing out first” - when people are flagging they can’t even log in.

We recently upgraded our WiFi because our other was getting slow and we no longer needed our landline so we needed a new plan. Wish we never upgraded. The WiFi is constantly going out like every 30seconds to 1 minute. But there’s no outages in the area. I wouldn’t recommend upgrading until these bugs are worked out.

This app is useless. I login and can’t access any features. The homepage is a chat screen. Clearly bugs that haven’t been fixed. Version 5.6 is the latest one yet trouble shooting videos on YouTube talk about version 12.45. Garbage.

Trying to edit WiFi name

Can’t access WiFi edit page on app. The WiFi info page only displays about 3/4 and the “Edit WiFi settings” link is below that. Can only see it by pushing up the page and holding it but when doing this the link won’t work. I’ve deleted & reinstalled the app and also rebooted my device (iPad running iOS 18). Also tried on my iPhone 13 running iOS 18.7 but have exact same problem. How can I get the WiFi info page to display fully so I can access the edit link at the bottom?

Vulnerable management app

If your gateway loses internet connectivity, the app goes down with it.
A pretty glaring problem when the time you need to use the app is when it becomes unusable!
Stick with connecting a computer to the hub with an Ethernet cable.

Embarrassing Login Issue

The login issue still persist even after the recent update rolled out. Followed all their instructions for the fix and still nothing resolved. No one can login into the app. Completely dysfunctional.

For what purpose?

I require port forwarding to run something, so I log into the router. It tells me I need this app to do so (ridiculous). I log into the app. It does not allow me to port forward. The only option is "contact support". Why does this exist? Even if it worked, if someone is trying to do something technical, why would you have them log in on a phone to do it? Lovely stuff :DDDDD

Update

I can no longer access the app as my iPhone 7 is no longer compatible. And now requires iOS 16. Which is not available on the iPhone 7 iOS 15.8.3 is the end of the road for the 7. 🥲 I have no intention of buying a different phone.

Once again they’ve updated the app without consideration for those of us who cannot afford to buy a new iPhone. My iPhone 7 cannot handle the new operating system and therefore the Rogers app no longer works. I don’t know why the banks can do it and Rogers cannot. Just leave the app for those of us who cannot update as is with a notice that says this app cannot be updated because of your system but you’re welcome to use it anyway

Not working lately

This app is hit and miss. I use the parental controls to pause my kids devices, and the unpause/pause is persnickety. It doesn’t always work, doesn’t unpause. It usually has a confirm after you ask to unpause, but that doesn’t come up any longer. It used to work well, but recently it’s lagging or stalling out, making it unreliable and frustrating.

port forward setup is broken

The drop down list of connected devices is capped at 9 devices. I see that i have 29 connected devices from within the app, so there’s definitely more than 9. i think the developers need to review this.

Needs a lot of work still

The app is functional but not the best. I know it’s free, and I don’t know the process required to build an app, but for a multi-billion dollar company like Rogers, I expect a LOT more in their front end user experience.

Ignite installed without pods and no pods arriving weeks after ordered

Ignite installed without the booster pods requested to help the signal reach the upstairs bedrooms. Lack of signal upstairs and in the basement without boosters has always been a problem in the house. I ordered the pods several weeks ago and they haven’t arrived after a few call backs to find out why. No wifi in the bedrooms so my data plan on my phone is taking a hit.
The main floor is working well.

thank you for this amazing wifi app!!!! First let me say good job on the slick design! I love how the app looks so sharp, I love how it works without having to be near the the modem! It can be monitored anywhere around the world. I love how for a new app by Rogers the engineers took there time adding all the important features at launch and not having to wait for a future update for features. Great job on adding protected browsing feature so that all my devices connected to the modem are viewing secure web pages. my absolute favorite about this wifi managing app is the NOTIFICATIONS knowing when a device gets connected to my wifi is a huge plus!!! Wish list : please add speed test directly from modem to get the true modem speed. Also please remove the “get organized with profiles “ that shows up when you open the app. I like when you slide over you can see the device highlights make that the default screen to open the app too! Apart from that this app is a great app to manage the ignite modem with!
