Hey the app keeps crashing after log in. After trying to log in several times it’s not working. Lots of complaints of same issue and other issues. Needs attention asap.

Please make it user friendly. It doesn’t show credit balance amount nor it’s calculated accurately, updated properly after payment is made. Points don’t show up and vanishes. Not as good as other apps which is clear and easy to use. Please fix it asap. Thanks for asking :)

Authentication loop
I attempt to login, the app disappears to the iPad home screen. When I look to see what apps are open, the PC Financial mobile app appears and able to open it, where I am then directed to authenticate again. Seems several people are experiencing this issue and have reported the problem. The suggested work around by support does not elbow out this loop. After deleting, then downloading the app, I am able to successfully find my account and validate with a verification code, but attempting to sign in reverts back to the described behavior. I have removed the app and hope that at some point this issue can be narrowed down and resolved. With recent updates, it seems that developers are not even aware of it or able to reproduce the problem. I can access my account through the website without issues. Hopefully someone can spend some time to figure out and address.

Great when it works
Overall, a very good app. But it’s plagued by bugs. Face ID regularly bugs. Showing transactions regularly bugs. These issues have been on again, off again for literally years at this point.

Won’t open

Total owing not showing
Since the last update, when I tap on the area to see what I owe and where I spent, it now shows how many points I have. Not what I owe on my card.

Crashes and no landscape mode
Last two updates always crash when attempting to log in, making it completely unusable. Also, none of the updates over the past year or so have fixed the problem that was slipped into an earlier update that’s essentially removed landscape mode on tablets. A real shame. No other app I use for tablets lock you into portrait mode and no amount of uninstalling and reinstalling will fix either issues. Need fixes for both asap.

Frequently tells users to wait 10-15 minutes
I don’t understand why this app frequently tells users to wait 10-15 minutes and retry signing in! No matter what time it is. I understand there are down time during the wee hours for maintenances. But even during normal business hours, your app constantly tells users to retry later. Is this a scaling issue of your service? I mean we don’t have a huge population in Canada! If this is a scaling issue, then I will question your ability to serve customers and most likely will switch to a different credit card.

A person shouldn’t have to link their bank accounts in order to e transfer money to their other bank accounts. Alot of people have more than one account. There are way too many restrictions with this pc money account. Once I can get all of money moved I’ll be closing my account

For the past two weeks I haven’t been able to open the app. It opens up for a fraction of a second, then shuts down. I have deleted and reloaded it, as suggested, but it only worked once after that. I have the latest operating system.
In the past I was happy with this app. I depend on it for my work.

Reconciliation is difficult with PC Financial Mastercard
I have a hard time reconciling the points earned with the transactions.
It would he helpful to see where the PC Mastercard points were earned since they are not applied at the time of purchase in the app.
And it would be helpful to know where the points adjustments come from.

My card is up for renewal in a month, and because of this I cant pause my card because the “temporary lock” button is not there due to a big notice that my ‘new card is coming soon’ splashed right across the page where the temporary lock button should be.
My card was being hacked and used and because of PC Mastercard greed in pushing new cards, and their notice that ‘in a month they will send me a new card’ I couldnt lock my card and keep my finances safe from being hacked. I’m closing this account and going with a more reliable, less ignorant company.

App will not allow a report of a list or stolen card. When reporting, the app requests a confirmation of address, then takes user to an error screen. Been this way for months. Says new card (old one is expired) is on the way, but three months later, no card and no way to report it. Phoning is useless as you never get to speak to anyone and are left on hold for hours.
Newest update no longer works at all. Can’t even log on as it’s stuck on the loading screen.

Says I require an update but I can’t update
App users who choose not to update (or cannot in my case) to a newer version should still be allowed access to the older app. As of right now, I cannot update the app because it requires iOS 16 and mine is under. Now I have no way of doing any online banking on my phone. PC financial and PC optimum (which I haven’t been able to access since their update since November 2023) have made things less available and difficult for users. Such a disappointment.

As far as I can determine, as the primary account holder, I’m unable to view transactions of secondary account holders on the app. This is unlike other credit card apps I have, and makes this app sub-par. If there currently is a solution to this, I’d love to hear it. Thanks

unable to download transactions
I have experienced issues on my PC computer in that your system is not tagging certain transactions as having been downloaded and as a result they are downloading again every time throwing my money management program out of balance. I know which transactions they are and I reported them several months ago. And yet they are still exporting again and again. I had hoped things would be better from my new MacBook, however I do not see anywhere to click to download my transactions. What good is an online banking app if you are not able to export transactions to your computer for reconciliation? Very poor!!
