Please for the love of all things Oculus, make this app able to switch to landscape view.. why? Why would it be advantageous to only offer an app in portrait mode in 2020?

My review on the oculus quest.
So the oculus quest is AMAZING. So far I’ve loved it. Though a couple problems I’ve had with it are, not being able to capture what happened in the last couple minutes, the heavy lack of games, and the expensive games. Apart from that I have not had much problems with it. I highly recommend the quest and hope you have a good time with it.

Why no Minecraft?!
I see ppl all the time playing Minecraft on rift but the quest hasn’t released a Minecraft app yet!! Like c’mon!!! at least start releasing better games or straight up I have no use for this piece of junk and I’ll probably just end up selling it cuz there’s literally only one good game on there and even half the time that game sucks, very disappointed...

K so if you want to play a extremely small percentage of the games available for VR, buy a quest! Oh but you say there’s quest link. How about daily updates to the headset app and launcher on the pc requiring several restarts of all systems as I write this I’m 2.3 hours in and still cannot connect. Oculus has the slowest downloads in the planet often I can’t enjoy any time in VR because I spend my time downloading and troubleshooting cables and rebooting systems

Usefull but clunky
I think that it is a good app for any oculus user: it lets you purchase games away, communicate with friends or sign up for events but that is about it. The UI is intuitive but I think the app could be improved on 2 points:
-Make the streaming experience better, notably less lag and AppleTV support would be welcome.
-Less notifications! The app is also bugged for me where there is always a notification circle even when the app has nothing.
All in all, useful but could be better.

Can’t even use it
I bought the Quest and can’t even use it because the app won’t accept any credit card or PayPal account. It’s going to take at least two business days before customer service will get back to me so now I have this headset that does nothing. This is a joke. I am regretting spending $600 on this thing.

Good store presentation but needs some work
The app is designed well but why when in the store watching game previews do I have to turn my ringer on (after already tapping the sound icon) to hear anything? Why is there no option to go full screen on the game preview? Why is there no IPad support? That would be better for casting I would think...
Why is there no option to add games to my wish list aside from when in the first screen that appears when you open the app and those ones are just featured games that Oculus thinks I want...
Why are there not any patch/version notes for games or even the device itself?
Why isn’t there a category just for pre order or coming soon games?
Casting to my iPhone X is not consistent..hopefully they can fix that and hopefully they can add more devices that can cast...like TV’s and not rely on mirroring or a stupid Google Chromecast...like really I gotta buy a stupid dongle to hang off my already expensive SMART TV, to cast the images of an already pricey device so that the people I’m trying to show how awesome VR is (and help Oculus with sales) don’t get bored between turns...seriously I’m sure my TV is capable...
There’s a lot missing here that I hope they consider adding/fixing these. Over all it functions well but I would actually give it 2.5 stars until these are fixed.

Good, but needs iPad support! The UI is a bit clunky. Hope it is just a foundation that will be built upon over time. Love the Quest headset but the prices are far too high for these “games” that are more like tech demos with a high price tag. Hope this app starts offering a “sales” tab soon!

The app is great except for when you try to enter a credit or debit card, it keeps on saying things are wrong when there not and it even when it didn’t say that it was wrong it said that the couldn’t add card 🙄, please fix IMMEDIATELY

Love the games. One thing I do t get.
The games are really fun and interactive, but for a service that has daily deals. I kinda wonder why they go through half a week without having any daily deals? Makes zero sense to me. Don’t call it a daily deal if you don’t plan on doing it everyday. As that is what daily means.
I have got Rift, go, and now Quest. How much longer before we start seeing the releases that were supposed to be day one released? Like the Climb on Quest.

The app is fine. Easy enough to navigate. Haven’t had it crash. Casting works fine and when it doesn’t I assume it has more to do with poor wifi or the game in the headset. One thing I can’t understand thought...... Why can’t you see your wishlist in the app? Seems very silly to be able to look at the store, but things and add them to your wishlist, but you can’t look at your wishlist. Very odd. ?:-/
UPDATE: Wishlist has been added to the app. So now I’m updating this to a 5* app. Very happy.

I went on to the app and pair new headset and all there was was the oculus go and rift. If you now how to fix this please tell me. But maybe it is because the quest is not out. I would just wont to download some games for when my quest dose show up. But other then that the app is amazing.

Only good for initial setup
This app is needed for the initial setup of the Oculus GO, but after that I see no use for it.
It’s slow and unorganized.
Also, if you do managed to look for an APP and add it to your wish list its GONE. There is no way to review your wish list on the mobile app. How could they have missed this functionality.
Install it to setup the GO, then delete it.

Great app for oculus go
This is a great app for the oculus go but one small problem is that I wish you can buy your oculus go games from the console itself instead of having to get it from here. Because i have a I pad mini 3 and I just worry if in a year I can’t get games from here due to the fact that my iPad can’t update. Other that that most of the games are great and fun (try rush) and I can’t wait for when more and more people get into the world of vr.

Can’t even make an account
Tells me to make an 8 digit pin, only allows 4 numbers to be typed (no letters or characters) and then won’t let you move forward because you need an 8 character pin... which it won’t let you input! Bad coding!!!

Games and overall support
So far i see alot of game that are rushed on the app, its like they will except anything not the best approach, other its facebook letting that happen or the people running this Application. As for functionality the app runs good, I like that it tells me what my battery % is on my oculus go is, also like the fact that You can also download games from the app so you don’t need to use the VR headset. I Will give this Application 5 Stars if the owners of this app and Facebook come together and review games to make sure they are good instead of letting bad games thru.
