App disappointment

app not the best

Version 2.2.20
The app and my ios11 iPhone keep disconnecting. Have to reboot the hearing aids so that the phone can rediscover them. Using CROS feed from my bad side to the good I get a disconcerting echo. Some good though. At least I can hear better then without them. Don’t expect to get your hearing back the way it was. The software app is rudimentary. Just volume; bass/treble; and switch on of off CROS feature. Does not remember last setting before nightly recharge so have to reset each day.

Amazed at the smooth transition between tv, audio books, phone and regular use. So much better than my previous aids and app. I would highly recommend this app and aids. Bravo!

I had resound for the last four years and they worked well. Easy to get the streaming going
I bad no complaints. I just thought The new technology would allow me to hear better
No so 😡
Signia is to hard to get working. I feel lost trying to find the new technology advances if they are in fact there
The streaming which has been a favourite of my comes and goes on its own . When it does start the noise it makes is fearful
I can honestly say that this is the worst hearing aids I have ever had in my some 30 years of striving to hear better
I’m going to see if I can exchange them for something better
Just had another muck up with this hearing aid
The streaming comes and goes as it wishes
I hate that I could get anything trying to get streaming with my phone
Frustrated and wander though my notes. Said get streaming using the buttons on the hearing aids. It connected
Obvious that the right had doesn’t know what the left hand is doing
P. S . I have an excellent audiologist

I like the app but I need the ability to turn the app down a lot for the TV volume it is too loud at 0.I have to turn my hearing aids off and on to pair with my iPad. That is inconvenient.

Keep on improving and hopefully one day we will all be happier!

Time to take this app off the market and send it back to the drawing board. Am sick and tired of endlessly re-connecting my devices only to be able to change the settings for brief periods before something goes wrong again. Bluetooth rarely stays connected. Very very frustrating.

Needs some work!

I found most of the app works. The battery check does not work on my Semiens $600 hearing aids. Not sure if the directional part works. I think it might cancel when you turn off your hearing aids or turn off your phone, ipad, completely!

Non functional and lacking setup compatibility

If you’re having problems, it’s best to go back to your provider and ask them for help. The app has always worked for me, it’s a great resource for connecting the hearing aids for adjustments and counselling. You can message your hearing care professional and have them make adjustments for you to be saved to your hearing aids so you aren’t always fiddling with them. They updated their features recently so they can have access to more software when you need assistance.

App keeps losing connection

Version 2.1.4
Frustrating when trying to adjust my hearing aids through the app, 99% of the time the devices are connected with the app even though the devices are visible and can be adjusted through the phone settings.

More flaky than you want...

I’ve been using this for 2 months now with the Styletto Connect and when the app works, it’s great. However everyday there are issues once my aids are paired to my iPhone X (current and regularly updating iOS).
Among the several issues I experience regularly:
1. While the app is open the volume setting moves on its own! (Yes, you read that right) flipping up and down setting off all kinds of pinging and noise
2. Right hearing aid just blanks out and needs to be re-paired (could be the aid, but only happens when app is open)
3. Does not hold preset from app close to open again
4. Frequent display that aids aren’t paired to app, but app is able to do battery check and adjust volume
I kind of feel like the app is “fighting” with the accessibility settings on the iPhone. Is that possible?
Definitely feel that this app is not bulletproof, but looking at the ratings, people have given poor ratings but the company isn’t doing much about it.
@signia - please start a Beta group! I’d be happy to participate!

If you tap on the icon to connect or disconnect it doesn’t work. Only way to work to to manually use the button on the hearing aid.

Works great

Version 2.1.3
Once my audiologist set up the programs for my hearing aid it works great. I have it set to reduce background noise which is amazing. It takes less effort than before to hear conversations in restaurants and large rooms with lots of people. My only wish is that I could see the directionality it is picking up. Loud people in restaurants get my attention over people I am visiting with. Other than that it's great. Keep improving on a good product Signia. :)

I got my first pair of hearing aids today and she talked me into these Signia hearing aids. The app worked in the office when she set it all up but as soon as I got out of the office nothing worked. No volume, no directional control and over all these hearing aids are a $7000.00 waste of money. I have $8.00 ear buds that work better than these things.

This version is a piece of crap. It does not connect via Bluetooth after multiple attempts. Wish I had not removed the old version.

Doesn't reliably connect

Version 2.0.1
I can never get the app to connect to the aids my phone sees. The only reason to use the app is for the directional hearing and streamlink, but since I can't connect reliably, it's useless. When I do connect, the aids won't connect to the streamlink I just connected.
You'd think $5000 hearing aids would be better programmed.
