Repeatedly asks for permissions
Every time the application starts, it asks for the same permissions, which I denied the previous time. This is annoying at the very least, certainly a bad user experience. I just want to unlock the door.

Rarely works
You rarely get a notification when you get a call. It takes so long to connect to the call that the person is already gone. 90% of the time it's just broken and offline.

Volume et choix de sonnerie
La sonnerie est trop basse, il suffit qu’on soit un peu loin de son téléphone cellulaire pour rater un appel.
J’ai raté tellement d’appels à cause de la sonnerie basse.
Pourquoi ne pas avoir
* un choix de sonneries
** Et la possibilité de régler le volume
Autrement, L’appli est correcte, mais elle a encore beaucoup de potentiel d’amélioration.

Open door option doesn’t show anymore
The options to open the door when someone calls is no longer available since the update.

This app finally alerts me directly within app - without the need to ring my phone. But notifications no longer go to my watch. 🤷♂️
If you get a black screen, enable camera access.
If you want this app to work on your iPad as well as your iPhone, you need to create a new family member, the same ID can log in two times.

Latest release 6.80.4 finally fixes video
Took several upgrades to fix the fact that when connecting to the door and boring live video (it would come up with a blank screen) ⛔️ 📺 .
Still by far the best full featured door entry at this price $ point.

Building managers: if you want to infuriate your tenants, please by all means install this sub-par solution.
Tenants: prepare to miss deliveries constantly as you may never get a notification that someone is waiting at the door. If you're lucky enough to get one, it takes several steps to respond to it and actually open the door. The delivery guy will most likely be gone by then.
Notifications not working properly on iPhone, iPad and especially Watch, takes 6 taps to open the door, etc. Go back to the drawing board and hire developers that actually know what they're doing.
I miss our old system that relied on calling on our cellphone and just have to press 6 to open the door. It was 20+ years old but worked.
This piece of sheeeeit of a "modern" system does not. I'm sad that our managers wasted our money on this.
Terrible, terrible app. The developer doesn't seem to care. Just look at other reviews. 0 stars.

Unable to open anymore
Since the update, I am unable to open the app on the iPad. The newer version does not support apple products. I have tried on many devices and it only works on an ipad that has not been updated.

Doesn't work with VPN
Sadly, if I am expecting a delivery I have to turn off my VPN in order for this app to work. That's only okay if I know the approximate time I will be getting a delivery!

Please fix this the app it not maje the ring sound anymore. Only vibrates but not sound. It happens on both of my phones

Offline issue
Unable to use since 2 weeks now. Keeps saying that it’s offline and to reboot. Nothing in the user manual either.

Hi, the app is easy to use but instruction text for a temporary key does not match what needs to be done on intercom interface. Also, it would be better if the app was actually ringing like a phone instead of just showing a notification, similar to Teams or WhatsApp. I miss most calls due to missed notifications. Intercom interface is OK (better than the admin interface) but it could be improved. I sent a few comments 3 months ago but they are still not done.
April 22, 2023 update: Intercom should show a message when calls are not connecting. Outages of internet provider or akuvox systems can impact the service and users don’t understand when it is not working. Mostly because the system rings but nothing is happening. Could be necessary to open door while there is a problem but I guess Akuvox should leave that option to the building admin. Also, intercom interface needs updates for keyboard layout for French-Canadian (QUERTY) and contact list must show all residents not just the unit main contact. App translation is partly done in French. Instructions do not match app. I sent many comments months ago by email to Akuvox Canada. Because nothing is done I am changing my rating because of that.

They need to make updates. App works few days then no camera, bad connections etc… really not what we paid for and what we expected.

Latest update stopped the app
As soon as I installed the latest update, I lost the connection, it shows offline and can do nothing about it .
