I attempted to sign up for an account but said I was banned when I had never previously created an account. I contacted support telling me I was sending inappropriate messages and when I tell them I’ve never made an account they don’t listen. They take forever to reply and asked me questions that don’t comply at all. They refuse to unban me for a false ban.

Taimi may not be the most popular yet, but it makes your time swiping and chatting feel more productive and rewarding. Honestly it’s not fully the creators fault but it’s kinda trash that your account will get disabled because of men reporting you when you don’t give them what they want.
There is a whole section dedicated to private photos that you can choose to give access to people. Yet my account was disabled for apparently soliciting or selling nudes (which I never did). That part should be removed because of incidents like this. I don’t give someone what they want and now my account is disabled due to petty men and them fake reporting me.

Making distances less than 80km a premium feature makes this app difficult to successfully connect with queer people near you! I like a lot of aspects of the app, there are major steps in making online dating more safe and inclusive to queer people. With that being said, 80km creates a dating system inaccessible to a group of people already struggling in a small dating pool. I would hope that you could choose an alternative premium feature, because you are unfortunately taking advantage of a group that already experiences financial inequality, either through wage discrimination in the workplace or through forced independence at a younger age from a lack of family support (plus more reasons). I love seeing new dating platforms targeted to queer people, but it is so important to take into account prevalent inequalities in the community so you’re not making money off already oppressed individuals! This is all said in hopes for a more inclusive experience, thank you for working towards more accessible dating for all!
