I paid a reasonable price for an annual subscription and quite enjoyed this app for several weeks. Now, though it won’t open without forcing me to either upgrade, or to watch a features ad about the premium subscription. I already have a subscription and if I had wanted more than the basics, I would have purchased it. Enough! I have deleted the app and cancelled my subscription. Very annoying!

Belle découverte pour moi. Je vais pouvoir identifier les oiseaux que j’aime tant observer.
Tout ça en directe. Fini les recherches dans un livre au retour à la maison. Je vais même pouvoir identifier ceux que j’entends et ne vois pas. Je vais sûrement découvrir la présence d’espèces que je n’ai jamais reçu à identifier auparavant.

Can I give this zero stars? Does’t identify birds, just gives you a dozen possibilities (all of which are wrong by the way). I have a robin singing in my backyard and it lists every bird but👎🏼

Nous observons beaucoup d’oiseaux sans jamais vraiment savoir de quels sortes il s’agit mais avec cette application , plus aucun ne pourra nous passer sous les doigts .. :)
Les enfants et moi auront enfin la chance de tout capter grace à ce mode de reconnaissance .. et nous serons mm en mesure de nous faire un scrapbooking ..
vraiment contente de l’avoir entre les mains .. Je ne le connaissais pas :)

It’s ok I guess, you need to watch adds to identify birds by picture sometimes and it told me I needed to update my iPad o be able to use the sound identifier, but my iPads up to date? Just too many adds.

It listens for the bird. Gives you a few possible choices of the bird and a percentage. I then listen to each birds call within the app. None of them are even close. I can’t see the birds so I need to use an identifier. Just not this one.

Very impressive app with extremely detailed descriptions in professorial English, very useful to differentiate between similar species. Pictures relevant to your location are automatically displayed and the quizzes are great fun. The automated identification of photos is not perfect but will undoubtedly improve in the near future. Of all the birds I have tried to ID by song (about 20) this app has been 100% wrong . I tried to ID with photo option and it told me the Flicker was a duck.
Will definitely not recommend or renew.
