Prepared to get banned if you’ve played before

My new account that clicked through tutorial quickly and did one quest on the first day got banned. I even type in chat and added a friend. If you ban me one more time I will never buy membership again.

Best game in the world

I love it and I even get to play with my dad so it’s the best thing in the world love it although I would like if in your houses people could send you presents, even if they were not allowed to trade so that and they would appear in your house so that when you wear in your house, you should collect the gifts but the first time you do this update I would like you to put a present in my house or everyone’s house if you prefer to give me a saw and a hammer please I would really appreciate it! I love dragon so if you could add some like dragon pets, like a black one and a white one and make it an easy question them appreciate it. IOS 26

App was working flawlessly up until I updated my iPhone 15 Pro to the new iOS 26. All of the sudden the game performance dipped incredibly hard, especially when I zoom out the camera in-game, my fps dips probably below 10. Apple is blaming apps for not being optimized yet for iOS 26. Just wondering if there will be an update for the mobile client or if it's more on Apples side of things.

Great Game, Wrong Company

RuneScape is a tragic tale of a great concept being owned by the wrong company. This game is addicting but it is way way way way way way too slow and miserable to play. Everything in this game is designed around being as time consuming and infuriating to do as humanly possible. The hardest part of every single boss, raid, and challenge in this game is maintaining a positive mental while you watch your character hit a 0 for the 15th time in a row as you burn through expensive resources. After you finally start to get the hang of the mechanics of any given piece of content you realize the core gameplay loop is wasting ~200 hours of your life on poorly designed and balanced content that isn’t engaging or fun in any way just for a single item drop that makes your character 0.5% stronger so that you can do the next piece of content 0.3 seconds faster on average.

Absolutely horrendous gameplay, I would recommend everyone stay as far away as they possibly can from this sad and pathetic excuse of a game.

Best MMORPG on mobile and possibly ever.

I’ve loved OSRS since the beginning. When it first arrived on the App Store, it was unbelievably. They have done such a great job with the app, it’s actually easier to skill on mobile in some cases.

Overall this is the best MMORPG app you can play with an unbelievably large player base in comparison to any other app out there. If you want to play a game that will be a long term commitment, you’ve found it.

Old School RuneScape Mobile – A Perfect Companion for AFK Grinding

Old School RuneScape Mobile is the ideal way to keep up with your OSRS goals, whether you’re on the go or just winding down for the night. The iPad version, in particular, shines with its multitasking support, making it easy to fletch darts while scrolling Twitter, knock out a quick bedtime farm run, or—my personal favorite—grind out nightly Dagannoth Rex kills.

Even as I write this review (with a little AI assistance) mid-Rex trip, OSRS Mobile handles everything smoothly. The controls are intuitive, and with a little setup, managing combat or skilling becomes second nature. Breezy the pony would probably agree—playing in bed, iPad propped up, casually swiping between OSRS and Twitter while waiting for farm ticks. It’s the perfect setup for a relaxed, productive night.

If you’re looking for a way to keep your XP gains going outside of your main setup, OSRS Mobile on iPad is a must-have. Just don’t forget your antifire or prayer flicks while multitasking!

Love the game!

I’ve been a fan of RuneScape for years. I recently started playing on mobile a lot because I currently don’t have a PC. I noticed that the icons that we have to click on to cast a spell are pretty small. For example “superheat” spell. My big fingers often mis click and press the spell that’s next to it. But I also noticed that when you use the enchant spell those icons get bigger and is easier to click those. Is it possible for the developers to consider a way to make all spells in the spell book a little bigger icon size so it’s easier for mobile players to click?

Over 400 days in-game time

I would love to give this 5 stars, it has been the best game I’ve played, and the game I’ve played the longest. The recent intent to monetize the game by CEO Mod Pip & newest owner of Jagex “CVC” has sickened my gaming experience. The price increases for membership have continued, with no reasonable increase to the quality of updates, support, or events. The intent to add advertisements, create tiered memberships, and overly monetize the OSRS experience has made me lose faith that this game will have longevity in the future, which is why I don’t recommend joining as a new player at this time.

Severely Threatened by MTX

While OSRS is a one-of-a-kind gem in the world of modern gaming, the studio’s owners (CVC & Jagex Leadership) are prioritizing short term profits over long term growth.

Given it takes 1000s of hours to get through the content, there’s no use in starting now. Any progress can and will be trivialized by upcoming pay-to-win schemes.

The senior leadership team will need to be replaced by those the community trusts. Otherwise, this gem will be tarnished and buried.

I will be cancelling membership due to the proposed membership changes. Advertisement will never belong in RuneScape, regardless if you’re free to pay, paying for membership, or using bonds for membership. Furthermore, proposing to increase membership prices will decreasing access to in game features, limiting membership packages to mobile only, and by providing “enhanced player support” is beyond out of touch. The letter put out by the CEO on this matter shifts the blame away from them and shows they have learnt nothing and will do anything for more money. I strongly urge you to not play this game.

Been playing RuneScape since you could get lured to the wilderness by asking kind strangers where you could find quest NPC’s, only to be slaughtered and lose your hard earned noob gear. This was obviously before Slayermusiq and ditches. Game is great, don’t let the FTP bots ruin your FTP experience!

Awesome but...

I played the pc version and it's amazing.

the problem is that when i tried launching the mobile app it says that there is a ''server connection problem'' and to check my wifi.

I tried everything. I even switched to my LTE and still nothing. Please help.

Attack style glitch/bug

I have played for years and I just started playing mobile. I ended up getting an unwanted attack level and then a defence level due to this. When i was wielding a scimitar i was training defence (defensive style) but then when i was using a 2h (range to 2h) it was set to strength still. I went back to using a scim to 2h combo and when i started using a scim it got me a defence level.. so i checked.. when i had my 2h it was set to strength style, when it was a scim it was set to defence style.. instead of carrying it over to the other weapon it stayed in its own unique style of attack. I want this resolved..

You guys have replied to this and gave me a response on rollbacks that lead me to a RuneScape only feed.. not osrs. How can i have this corrected.. you rollback accounts for botting.. i want mine rolled back. I can even take video evidence.

Text is too small

Every time I’m talking to an npc it always presses the wrong option. Is there a way to fix this? Can I make the text larger?

The game is awesome, but the app absolutely murders my battery

The app is pretty smooth and the game is great but within seconds my phone is hotter than hell and the battery went from 100% to 70% in 5-10 minutes with the screen turned down.
