Only got this app because it wouldn’t let me access the textbooks I paid for through google on my phone. Now the app is telling me my account does not exist which has had a domino effect onto the website VIA my laptop which no longer accepts my password. Guess I won’t be able to do anymore readings. I am losing my mind.

I had to keep unselecting/removing my “downloaded textbooks” and then trying to redownload them. Either way pages wouldn’t load. This is an awful process when I needed them downloaded as I am out of service at times. Should have just gone for a physical copy….

This viewer does not allow you to scroll between pages. You must click Next Section every time you want to switch pages, which is horribly annoying. You are forced to accept analytical cookies to be able to access the book you have PAID for and if you turn them off, a page will pop up and won’t let you into your book. It also said that my download was complete but I cannot find the file anywhere and it will not let me download it again.

The reason I gave a star as rating is only cuz it atleast functions right on PC though its choppy.

I bought an online textbook for university since it was a cheaper option that the physical copy. However I wish I bought it hard copy. This app is terrible to use. If I zoom out I lose my page, the option to highlight sucks. It is very difficult to highlight important information. It’s not Apple Pencil friendly either.

Can’t load a textbook for the life of me and when you are able to load it it only leads a couple pages at a time, then doesn’t load the next pages until you swipe up the app and reopen the book. I swear I’ve spent more time opening up this textbook than actually studying.

I’ve had to use this app for a few different courses throughout my degree. I swear the app gets worse each time I use it. Half of the time I can’t even log in without taking a roundabout way. Tonight I’m reading a chapter off of my phone because my books are buffering when I access BibliU through the website instead of the app itself. The books are incredibly glitchy and not easy to navigate. If I had another online option I would 100% use it instead of this one… oh and I’m paying hundreds of dollars for the poor service, too :)

The text to speech software in this app is so horrible it has made me rage-quit my textbook readings multiple times. I spent an ungodly amount of money on this textbook hoping the legally acquired version would be easier to annotate and listen to, making my required reading with dyslexia possible. I was wrong. I never leave reviews but the glitches with chapters restarting and audio stopping have made me want to throw my phone and i have to warn others. Pirate your textbooks, universities using this app is a joke. (Did I mention it signs you out every time?)

The read to speech is extremely robotic but somewhat understandable. But if you try scrolling at all it will crash your app. I tried multiple of times to listen to my textbook and it’s just extremely frustrating to deal with never knowing where I am because the app wants to freak out and take me all the way back to the start of the textbook. (And the multiple of times it just refuses to show my textbook)

I am begging you developers, to fix this app.

We are literally encouraged to buy our digital textbooks through this application for it not to be even worth it.

I don't write reviews typically but I had to share my thoughts. As a university student I have some textbooks that I have purchased online. BibliU has house 2 of those books throughout my schooling career. The first book was one I used from Sept 2021- December 2021. The BibliU app was available on my Mac at that time which seemed like a great option in comparison to the website. THIS APP SUCKED SO BAD! Features were broken, the book would freeze and navigatting the book was a nightmare. Switching to a web browser to write an essay on the content and then coming back to the book resulted in a white screen and the need to close and reopen the app etc etc etc. I figured that this term (september 2022) would have an improved app seeing as it has been an entire year since I last used it. NOPE THIS APP STILL SUCKS! There doesn't seem to have been one improvment made. This seems ridiculous seeing as this comapny parnters with university institutions. Moral of the story is that I do not reccomend this app unless you want continous frustration and tears. What an absolute dissapointment!!!!!!!!

If you can’t find you university or college and it also won’t let you login through email but you purchased the book through Campus eBookstore then when selecting an institution choose CEI Campus eBookstore and login with your student info. I hope this helps some of you because this app is incredibly hard to navigate and figure out how to use. For weeks I thought I just threw away $300 hopefully you can now avoid this problem!!

Don't normally write reviews but this platform is particularly bad. Very difficult to login, only figured it out because of other unhappy reviewers. If you ever make it past the login stage you'll find most built-in "features" don't work whatsoever. Navigating between content is slow and frustrating. And you can be sure you'll get to experience this many times as the app regualrly requires restarting to get it to display anything other than a loading sign.

Considering this platform is supposed to be for students reading pricey textbooks it's pretty pathetic.

I bought my digital textbook and the physical textbook because I have difficulties reading and wanted to use their text-to-speech feature. This audio feature is the worst I’ve used to date. The voices are low quality, and can’t read many words, often pauses and worst of all it skips pages and even chapters when transitioning to the next page! This is 2021 and this blatant disregard for people with learning challenges is infuriating. Please look at the REVEL platform by Pearson and model their text-to-speech audio feature which is one of the best I’ve used. I am very disappointed and spent a lot of money on these books for poor service and disrespect.

As so many others have said, cannot log in with correct information on the App version, and not at all on the Mac version. Crap, and downright embarrasing that this company doesn't seem to care.

Anyway, on the phone if you install the app then log in in a browser, then when i opened the book it logged in through the app automatically. Or maybe it was when I went to read offline. Anyway, i did get it to work that way somehow, but same trick doesn't work on the Mac version, only on browser.
