Simple Calendar
This is a great calendar for my use. Very simple to fill with my daily needs, activities and appointments. I also like to be able to highlight in the various colours. I do recommend that people try this calendar

Simple to use but fails to show current date on home screen
I think this is a great calendar, highly effective but something simple such as showing the current date on home screen without having to open the app lets it down. Still I rate it 9 out of 10.

I hate that with every update I lose the stuff scheduled on previous months. I am a shift worker and it is how I was keeping track of my overtime and vacation days. I wish it would not erase previous months schedules.

Review
This calendar gives user many options including colour coding events like bills and bdays. Easy to add and edit.
Unsure how to remove whatever is causing some events to be read only.

SimpleCal vs Google Cal.
I used Google first. It is probably a good app except it wasn’t easy for me to use. I am 67 and I had trouble using it because I found it too intense and I just wasn’t catching on. I messed it up every time I used it.
With SimpleCal I am using it at least a year and never messed up. It was easy to use and user friendly. I am very happy with it. The alerts never failed me and adding and deleting apps. Are simple to do. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a easy to use calendar. Thanks Terry
