What's New in Version 1.13.0
Hello fellow readers! Thanks to everyone who has been using the app, leaving reviews and sending me emails with suggestions: I read and consider them all, and they have given me lots of great ideas to keep making this app better.
The update has a few new features:
• Scan Multiple Barcodes
If you have a stack of books you want to add to the app quickly, this is now easier with bulk barcode scanning. Tap "Scan Many" on the barcode scanner screen, and then just point the camera at each barcode one by one.
• CSV Import Improvements
I've had a lot of emails asking for help with the CSV import format. This update includes some information which will hopefully make this process easier to understand: in the CSV Import screen, tap Format Details and then tap See Columns to see a list of all columns which are supported, and additional information about specific format requirements of the data in those columns.
• CSV Import from Goodreads
The app now supports importing from the CSV format obtained from Goodreads. So, if any users wish to migrate from Goodreads to Reading List, this is now easier. Just specify the Goodreads import format, export a CSV file from Goodreads (for instructions, tap Format Details in the app), and load it into Reading List. Unfortunately, for technical reasons the app is unable to download book cover images. Additionally, the Goodreads export doesn't include all the started/finished dates, so you may find that the imported dates might need some finessing after the import.
• CSV Import options
Following on with the CSV Import theme: the app now provides more import options. You can specify whether missing metadata and/or book cover images should be searched for at the point of import, and whether existing books should be overwritten or not.
Along with these features, there are numerous smaller improvements:
• A new launch screen and "What's New" display to introduce new features and explain the app a little to new users
• Adds the ability to supplement a manually-added book with online metadata, if the book has an ISBN, from the Edit screen
• The cancel confirmation prompt is no longer shown when dismissing the Add Manually screen if no data has been added (thanks to Bryan Clark for this addition!)
• Auto-selection of the page count field when editing a book's reading log, for quick page updating (thanks to Bryan Clark for this addition as well!)
• Smoother animations on the book table when filtering your books by searching
• Lots of under-the-hood updates which will help make Reading List run faster and smoother
• A few minor bug and crash fixes

A great app
Overall a great app!
No glitching, and is a great way to log what you're reading. It helps me look over how much I have been reading and what I have read in the past. You should totally get this app if you love to read or if you want to start reading more!

Good but could be better
This app is great for making a reading lost that you have on your phone but it could be even better if you could track how long you read for and how long it will take you to finish a book. Also a section for goals and dates to finish’s books by if I want to meet those goals. Add that stuff and this app will be perfect!

Simple and Focused
This reading list is perfect for tracking what you want to read. It is super simple and focused; it is exactly what you want from a digital list of books.
The design of the app is very minimal and straightforward allowing you to easily view you books, or the individual lists which you can create.
Highly recommend if you are like me and found others digital systems like Goodreads to be too busy.

Love it, but...
Have been tracking, rating, categorizing and making notes on books for about a year and a half. Love this app. Then there was an iOS update in October that wiped it out completely. In a leap of faith, I’m starting up again because it’s so wonderful to track reading this way!

Really enjoying it!
This app is everything I was looking for. I love the ability to scan a books barcode and easily store the title in my “To Read” list. I’m terrible for remembering book titles that are suggested to me so this helps me to remember!
I really enjoy seeing my list of finished books get longer. I can also customize my own lists which is helpful. And it’s free!

What I have been looking for
Simple and elegant app.
Feedback: I would love to see a “word count” function to complement the “page number” tab. It would be useful for e-books when page numbers are not very representative.

Really useful
I love this simple app! It helps me keep track of what I’ve read, and what I’m reading. Since I’m a book reviewer and I’m often reading several books at a time, I need this in my life! Easy to use and indispensable for the avid reader.

Simple, utile, exactly as described. Feedback: please allow for bulk selection to any list. Defaults to "To Read", would be great to have the option to decide which list multiple books are added to.

And that’s what this is. Uncomplicated list of read and to read. Gives me all the info I need and that’s it. I do wish that it would update on my phone from my IPad but that’s not a huge detractor.

It has every book and it is so easy to scan the barcode of the book to add it to your list!! I don’t read much but wanted to get back to it so this is a nice way to track my progress and see all the books I’ve read or that I’m reading.

Super handy, simple way of keeping track of books in your TBR pile, books you’re currently reading and books you’ve read. I like that it keeps track of when you started and finished a book (I always find that fun to look back on). Would definitely recommend this app to fellow bookworms!

Perfect app for books
This app is absolutely amazing to keep your books organized. You can clearly see all your different lists of what you want on your shelves. It would be especially helpful when you’re going to buy books! Would 10/10 recommend!

No option to disable start and finish dates
Everything about this app is what I’m looking for except there is no option to disable when you’ve started a book and when you finished. I wanted to add books to the ‘finished’ category that I’ve already read and it won’t allow you the option to put ‘none’. It will state that I started and finished the book today or when I finished it years ago and I can’t change it. Please give the option to enter none or to be able to disable a start and finish date on finished books all together.
