Description

Physiotec was the first provider of rehabilitation exercise software to offer an online exercise prescription service that is accessible in real-time. Their innovative technology allows the creation of high-quality personalized exercise programs. All therapeutic, physical fitness, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation exercises are accompanied by descriptive images in the form of simplified diagrams, photos, or video clips, along with clearly written instructions. The exercises are grouped in different modules: geriatrics, neurology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, vestibular, amputees, cardio, pelvic floor, Pilates, plyometric, reinforcement, warm-up, yoga, etc.
Physiotec's service offering to healthcare professionals is extremely impressive. In the areas of health, rehabilitation and fitness alone, more than 6,000 different exercises have been designed for rehabilitation programs and exercises in the areas of physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy, occupational therapy, manual therapy, sports, physical fitness, chiropractic and osteopathic rehabilitation, as well as therapeutic exercises.
Physiotec’s innovative technological platform makes it possible to structure clinical knowledge in such a manner that it is driven dynamically thanks to the meta-analyses conducted by the stakeholders. Thus a therapist can use the database and, with the support of the Physiotec team, digitally personalize one or several exercises with regard to the specifics of his patient’s needs.

Great resource for virtual care

I am a practitioner who has used Physiotec for several years as a paper copy resource for patient home exercise programs. Our clinic has gone to a virtual care model during the pandemic and having Physiotec integrated with our EMR service has been great to continue offering exercise programs to our patients at home.
Our patients have found the browser based exercise program and available application an easy to program and they love the description and video features. As a practitioner I find it great that I can use the tracker to see how my patients are progressing and what exercises they are having difficulty with
As an Apple Watch user I would love to see it integrated onto my watch so that I can swipe through the exercise photos on my screen to see what exercise is next.

Can’t log progress

I used to love this app but now I can’t seem to log my progress and tick off an exercise as I complete it. Please bring that feature back!

Authentication is not good

My physiotherapist gave me exercises to do. It takes longer to login to the app than to do the exercises. Face ID is not supported. I have to log in every day as the session does not persist. When I log in the app is not responsive as clicking the log in button does not log you in. As far as I can determine the login is a pixel or two on the right side just above the login box. Is there a plan to fix this?

Used to be better

The app is glitchy and used to freeze a lot. They seem to have got that under control now but ever since I updated recently I have to log in again each time which is super frustrating.

Meh

It's not bad but could be way better with a few easy improvements. First explain what the various titles mean (s, b, etc). Two, I shouldn't have to login everytime, there's nothing high risk stored in here. Would have been an amazing app 10 years ago. Finally, when opened it should default to my most recent plan, rather than the first one I was assigned 5 months ago

Bad Update

The app was good before the update. Now it does not open with Face ID nor it keeps logged in. Every time I open it have to login again.

Pffffff.

There is no help explaining some of the acronyms (what are S R H?)
When you go to the setting menu, then Click « Fermer », you are no longer able to scroll on the main page you have to kill the app and login again.
It doesn’t remember your login. It’s physio, not a bank! At least have Touch ID????

Vidéos not working

Great app, except videos worked on the first day, now nothing works. I tried to reach assistance by e-mail and my message went to their spam. I can not get an answer. I am using with iPhone 6, iOS 2.1.4

Not optimized for iPhone X

Decent app but not optimized for iPhone X. The top is cut off. It also looks like it’s a webpage in a container not a native app. Could use some UI/UX work.

Passwords

Guys it have to be a easier way to find my password than going on your website and trying to find my user name that I don’t remember either. It should be on the app, and you should ask for the email....
