Travel in style in either a 4 passenger Tesla Model S, or a 6 passenger Model X complete with falcon wing doors. Use the provided map to track your ordered car, and time to your chosen pick up location. You will also have access to estimated fare and time to your destination. Find out about your driver, rate your ride and enjoy the convenience of paying through the app or available in-car terminals.

Fairness, flexibility, and simplicity — these are the main principles for our new cancellation policy.
From now on, when the driver cancels an order for some reason, this order will be taken back to the list of active orders, and another driver will be able to pick it up shortly.

Don’t use taxis much but had a good experience with them last year so decided to use them again. Open the app. Shows a couple drivers. Nothing happens. Maybe it’s a glitch. So I cancel the search and select “no drivers available”. Try again. App shows the same drivers in the same location, probably rejecting my ride request. App then has to audacity to complain that I am “cancelling” rides and thus may be banned from using Current Taxi. Okay.

Current Taxi is like having my own personal car service. Even if one isn’t immediately available if my time is flexible they almost always get a car to me shortly thereafter. And the drivers, as well as the dispatch girls, are wonderful about texting with updates or any other info I may need ahead of time. Not to mention the cool factor of cruising around in the Tesla’s. And since they’re electric, the fares don’t go up when gas does! I’d rather wait the extra 15 min for Current to have an available driver than take the other guys, no question!!

The least reliable service. It used to be really good but lately they seem to be hiring drivers who are incompetent. I’ve preordered several times where at the time I’m expecting the taxi, the driver has just started to make their way to me from across town, or the app will suddenly say “sorry no drivers are available to take your ride” and the. I have to find myself scrambling to get anywhere. I want to support this business but honestly I’ve been disappointed and let down more than I’ve been satisfied by the service.

This company goes above and beyond to provide the customer with a great ride. Their customer satisfaction is through the roof. Sure, the app could be better but it is light years better than what traditional cab companies are trying to do. Current Taxi comes highly recommended. And they provide a zero emissions carbon neutral taxi ride in top of it all! They only have a few cars because they’re trying to build a business. They have more and more cars every few months.

I have been riding with Current Taxi since they started and have loved the app. They are my first call when I need a ride and I love that I can book ahead for appointments and even make special requests ahead of time. Being able to see how far away they are from my destination helps with my timing and means less time waiting outside. Receipts come conveniently to my email and the app makes it easy to pay as well. And really, who doesn’t love riding in a TESLA!

Anytime I ever need a ride in kelowna I immediately contact current taxi. They are hands down the best car ride service in kelowna. Cabs here have always never cared very much about their customers except for select few good apples in the patch. But with current taxi, you know that every single ride will exceed expectations, and every single driver will be great to you, care about your safety, and get you home in spectacular fashion. The driver’s are actually not allowed to leave your destination until they know that you are safe and have walked into your home, building, or have met up with people. This goes above and beyond your usual “taxi ride”. The clean and brand new Tesla’s are just a cherry on top!! Hats off to the people who started this company; we needed this here in kelowna. Can’t wait to see how far this company goes!!

The other outfits in the area will barely acknowledge you exist (if they show up for your booking at all)
current taxi is the exact opposite, you book and don’t have to worry about whether or not they’ll show up and the service is always super polite and kind. :)

I won’t use any other cab company in Kelowna. Cars are beautiful and clean, service is always on time and friendly, and the app makes booking quick and easy. Price is generally comparable or less than traditional taxis and you get to ride in a Tesla! The only downside is that Current taxi is so popular that I sometimes can’t get a ride when I need it - book early if you can.

The closest thing to Uber Kelowna has! It’s so simple to book on their app, and it allows you the option to book in advance which is a great feature for rides to the airport. I hate calling cab companies, and this app makes it so streamline.

Superb service. The cars are all Teslas and in top notch condition. The booking was relatively simple and quick via the app. Secret sauce is the drivers. I have used the taxi again a few times since this review, and they have still been great and dependable. They once drove way out of their way to pick a group of us up. Another time they picked us up right on the 97, so convenient!

I have always had good experiences while using current taxi. I don’t ever find myself waiting much over 10 minutes for a taxi. The app is very useful as you can track where your car is. I would recommend.

I uploaded the app and waited about 20 minutes before I wanted to book a taxi. Taxi was unavailable. Looks like a common theme.i called and spoke to Dan who said that he had no taxis available. He provided no explanation, no other options. It’s unknown if this business is legitimate
