Howdy, I’m going to be honest here I’ve used this app on and off for years, and I’ve found its one of the best places to browse fan written fiction. My only issue is that when I’m in the middle of reading a fic’ or even look away for a few seconds it tends to scroll back up and I lose my place. It’s a real pain when I feel as though I got a flow going.

I usually have patience when it comes to apps. But now even that is wearing thin. For one, I have to keep logging into my account for every use and on top of that, I’ll be in the middle of reading something and it will kick me out and force me to LOG BACK IN. Also, the text to speech is buggy right now. It will work fine for a few seconds then it will completely stop even though it’s activated. I don’t like how I have to reopen my phone just to turn off and turn back text to speech every 20 minutes. Please for the love of god fix this.

I have to sign in almost every time I open the app. My reading settings are reset and it’s a big pain to try and getting it back to my preference which I haven’t been able to do. I have to reduce the size of characters and make adjustments to line spacing to be able to read an entire paragraph or it automatically cuts words.

The recent update has been causing some issues. Since the update I’ve noticed that the app has started crashing at least once an hour while I’m reading. I’ve also noticed that occasionally at the end of a paragraph there seems to be some missing text, and as it has happened multiple times over the course of reading probably a dozen fics I can only guess that it’s an app problem and not a problem with the stories themselves.

So I’ve been an author on FanFiction.Net since 2004 and as much as the app is convenient and let’s me get some writing done on here, read some awesome stories but as someone who watches their story stats and see which one is a hit and which one is a miss, It would benefit me a lot if I could be able to check my stats on the app and not on the desktop version which is what I’ve been doing. I really liked this app. But with the new update I can’t use the phones speak screen option which is incredibly frustrating. I know you are working on your own text to speech section but it pauses after every paragraph, which I find frustrating. It also means that I can’t pause the speech when I’m out of the app. Which is such an inconvenience.

And recently none of the stories even open, the just sit on the loading book page, despite already being downloaded.

If I don’t figure out how to downgrade to my old version, or this changes so I can use the phones text to speech option. I’ll probably stop using it.
