Description

Off putting

The protagonist Wynn flips between trust and suspicion making it a frustrating read. I found myself trying to keep Wynn safe until she refused to share any info with me which prompted me to push her in to dangerous situations to get anything done. It broke me out of the fantasy because I can be trusted with making life/death decisions for her but when I ask what is in a patient file she refuses to tell me anything but immediately asks for help figuring out where to go next. She constantly reminds you that she doesn’t trust the player. I stopped playing at that point because I no longer cared about the character. David Justus’ work clearly outshines this one when it comes to character building and the bond and trust developed between the player and fictional character. The older games put a better emphasis on cooperation and trust between the protagonist and player.

Great story..............LOOOOOONG PAUSES

I’m really enjoying the story; however, the pauses between are way too long. I’ve been playing this game for weeks and, looking back at the dialogue, this is something that could have been read in a day. I’m thinking of deleting it without finishing. When my iPad has waited long enough to time out multiple times during active play sections, this is poorly designed timing. It almost feels like we’re the experiment, just to see if people have the patience to finish the game.

Very Interesting!

Quite an interesting and intriguing game. Quite enjoyable all around. Yes there is some waiting but very enjoyable. If you like games that are different, you will probably enjoy this experience. Yes, I believe it is an experience not just a game. I like it. I like it a lot!

Why?

I can’t go back and retry a decision? Besides waiting every time you finish talking to Wynn, for like hours? Not great, also starting from scratch every time is really annoying and long, and there is no fast mode, but good story and situation

Please shorten awaiting transmission times

It is hard to play this episode of the lifeline series because there is to much waiting. I am only able to play about 30 secs each time until there is another wait. Please make it shorter!

Needs improvement for IPhones

Love the game itself, it has a great storyline, but I highly suggest you improve settings for IPhone 7. You can turn off sound and music and see credits and such, but there is no option for chapter rewind or fast mode. This option is available for iPads though. I'm not sure if this problem is present with other models or devices, but I think it will greatly improve the experience if these options are added.

Apple watch issues, otherwise good

Apple watch play doesn't work, and I bought this specifically as an Apple watch game for myself. Very frustrating. Please fix or I'll have to request a refund
EDIT: Restarted my watch and it's working again. Hopefully problem doesn't come back

Wynn's hard to like...

Great game, great plot, as with all lifeline games. However, like with Arika from Bloodlines, Wynn is hard to like. Wynn at least has a creepy voice in her head to allow for her paranoia and general coldness.
Still, great game otherwise.

Loved it!

My first lifeline experience and totally can't wait to start another.... Though, I will miss Wynn! For those considering, this isn't a fast paced shoot 'em up style game. It plays out in real time. I wasn't sure at first I liked that but after a bit i realized it actually enhanced the experience. Made me feel connected in a realistic way. Thanks!

Interesting

It was an interesting game (fun too) and had some difficult choices here and there but I didn't really get attached to Wynn like I did with the other ones. Ex: Arika, Taylor, Alex.

Love it

I actually find myself missing Wynn occasionally. I'd get so sad when I accidentally led her to her death. And while playing I felt attached and almost cared about what would happen. I hope her story continues.

Love lifeline

Great addition to the story, but I found Wynn hard to like. It makes sense that she was quite paranoid and secretive since we are simply a voice in her head, but she wasn't nearly as charming as Taylor or the girl from the second game.

Great story, glad to have more.

This was a great addition to the series. Loved the new character and setting.
I saw a review that said it took five minutes to complete and I have no idea how that could happen, even with the choices I made it took me days to reach a rewind point. Keep trying, this is like a "choose your own adventure" book, lots of ways to get to a good ending.

A waste of time

The main character falls asleep very often in the game, even he hasn't done much in the game. Made me wait at least several hours until he woke up. The choice made in the game also don't lead to a a big difference.

Great Game, Some Glitches

I'm not finished the game yet, but from what I've played it's okay. It's suspenseful at times, though it's quite repetitive. (Go through a hallway, look in the offices, sleep, repeat.)
There's been a very annoying glitch where I start up the game and all the text will be gone. It will still show the heart rate monitor and settings button, but all of the text from the conversations with Wynn are gone. Sometimes it stays like this for days.
All in all, it has potential, (Like I said I'm not finished yet.) but I still don't feel that connection with the character like in the original Lifeline.

Great!

They did it again! Yet another awesome story in the lifeline series :) totally worth paying a few bucks for all of them. Only thing I don't really like is how the exact words on the option aren't always exactly what you say. And I'd like to see more places where you can look stuff up on the internet to help make decisions.
