Access Vaughan Public Libraries from your iPhone! The Vaughan Public Libraries mobile app makes it easy to find and discover titles, place holds, renew items, rate titles, create lists and get information about our branches.
Features:
• Quickly search the collection, with filters to zero in on the kinds of titles you’re seeking
• Browse bestsellers and new material
• Get the details on any title, anytime and anywhere, including descriptions, community reviews and commentary
• Check a title’s availability – even map the locations where your title is available now
• Place and manage holds.
• Renew items
• Check branch hours

What's New in Version 2.5

It's now easier to see what you have on hold and checked out! The My Borrowing screen now provides an overview of your library account with quick access to itemised displays of your account.
Want to know what's coming soon to the library? On order titles can now be accessed from the Home screen.
Some library locations may open or closed at various times throughout the day. These times are now displayed on the Location Details screens.
In response to user feedback, the Borrowing and Visiting tabs have been renamed My Borrowing and Locations.
It's now possible to scan ISBN and UPC barcodes from the Search by Barcode screen.
This release also includes behind the scenes accessibility enhancements, improvements, and bug fixes.

Still NO native iPad version!

I have an iPad 4 but the VPL app is still a simulated small screen iPhone app! Everything is so squished and cramped on my big iPad display because it’s designed for a small tiny iPhone resolution! Pro UI design! 👎👎👎👎

Still no card to apple wallet

Please add the library card to apple wallet, so we don’t need to bring the card every time. Is it so hard?

Such a useful app

Library‘s need to get out of the dark ages, apps are the way to go!
This app is so intuitive & easy to use. I can put my books on hold, check any inventory & know exactly when my books are due/ if I have any fines. Thank you Vaughan PL💛

Brand new app

Finally a brand new from the ground up app! Works really well and doesn’t crash every time. Well put together interface as well, but anything updated would probably seem better than the old app.

Hasn’t been updated for iOS 12.

Hasn’t been updated for the newest screen dimensions. Otherwise functions well. Would be nice if the card could be added to wallet.

Good app

I think that it is a great app for checking what you would normally do on the website. Just needs iPhone X compatibility and the ability to add your card to your wallet
