I used to love this app but I just noticed that all my reading more then 90 days are gone. What’s the point of tracking your glucose readings for only 90 days. Useless app!

Love the Bluetooth feature to get reading on my phone. You set your ranges and it gives you your averages weekly, monthly & quarterly. The reading are in colour so you know you above or below your reading.

Due to bad strips or whatever I got several inaccurate readings. Now, because I can not remove these readings from this app that we are supposed to rely on for daily life, my averages are messed up and completely useless.
Team, please figure out how to add a delete to the app to remove readings.

Cloud synced entries cannot be deleted

The software is good in general but FAQ and the manual mention that only manual entries can be deleted, but not cloud synced ones. Why is that? Adding an entry from someone else while under my account messes up my trends and there’s no way to fix (ie delete) said entry.

I am actually quite satisfied with the app and don’t have anything negative to say. Truthfully, the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it doesn’t have an interface with my Apple Watch. It does everything I need it to do, including trending on a line graph. I suppose if I had suggestions for improvement it might be handy if it reminded you to check your blood glucose at scheduled times of the day. Well done folks, thank-you for being so responsive and creating a quality app.

Après plus de 4 jours à essayer d’installer l’application faute du serveur Canadien, j’ai trouvé compliqué les démarches à faire. Maintenant que le serveur a été mis à jour, je crois que d’autres éventuels utilisateurs de cet appareil n’auront pas de problème d’installation. Sinon je vous recommande de parler à Paul, tres sympathique et grand connaisseur. Merci pour ton aide.

As the title says the glucose meters are very accurate and nicely designed. However, the app feels like it was designed and built 10 years ago and is not as visually appealing as other apps from other manufacturers.. the menu is a mess and is not very responsive.

I’ve been using this App for just a week and love the feature and how reliable the Bluetooth connection is. I’ve used others and had problems regularly with the Bluetooth connection. Also, much better and well thought out UI.

I have not had much luck with my Contour. I delete the app, reload it, resync with Bluetooth and it works for a few days and then stops recording my readings and I have to start entering them manually. I’ve done this several times now. I will be getting a new reader because this one just isn’t up to par. It’s hard enough being a new diabetic without having to do this over and over again.

The App is great never have a problem. I love the Contour Next One Meter but the lancing pen is brutal (I have anxiety with needles). The lancing pen is very rough and loud the lances themselves are unbearable only comes in a 28 gauge needle which is extremely painful. It got to the point I couldn’t test anymore my anxiety was so bad. I found a lancing pen that is quiet, gentle and the lances come in a 33 gauge so it’s almost pain free.

Overall, I’m quite impressed with the quality of this app. However, as a professional UX designer I have some minor quibbles:
1. Every time the app finishes syncing with the cloud, in refreshing the readings page it scrolls the readings back to the bottom. This is highly irritating, especially when annotating older readings.
2. Each reading incluses an icon for the Meal Marker (if any) but the information about WHICH meal is never shown, even when the reading is expanded. I’m sure this info can be guessed from the reading time, but if meal markers are considered to be primary info, then it should be available at a glance.
3. It’s evident that meal markers are considered to be THE primary annotation, since their icons are included in the reading banners, and they can be set on the contour device. However, in the app one is required to navigate twice to set them. Huh?
4. I find the main Readings page generally well designed. However, the auxiliary pages and dialogs are rather haphazard. The graphic design is nonexistent, they don’t use screen real estate effectively, and the workflow seems random.
5. I record the same insulin use every morning, but every time I have to re-enter the number of units. No assistive intelligence? The same applies when I have to re-enter my name every time I create a report.
I worked for many many years as a professional app developer. I’d suggest hiring a UX professional, and setting up a user focus group.

I have only been using the app for a year, as I’m still in the early stages of diabetes, only on medication. I don’t need to do a test every day. Would it be possible to delete the days when there are no readings? It would make the actual readings stand out more. Very good app.

I was given a blood glucose meter to check my blood sugar occasionally as I was give medication to control it. Right out of the gate, my meter refused to connect to my Apple iPhone 12 mini. The support was none existent because they had no idea how to fix it!

I can’t get the app to open (ios15). I deleted and reinstalled it and got an actual screen but it only showed the “working” circle and didn’t let me do anything. I shut down the ap and reopened it and just got the title screen.

I’ve been using it with the COUNTOUR NEXT ONE for a week and it’s not too bad. I wish that you could delete a reading after it has been synced. I tried it on my daughter who isn’t diabetic and not my numbers are skewed. Wish I knew ahead of time.
