Paid for a subscription and can’t watch content

So for anything that has more than one season, tapping “done” after selecting the season you want does nothing, it’s like it’s not even an option anymore. Feels like a ripoff because I paid for the full year and can’t do anything about it 🙃

Amazing content, unforgivably bad interface on iPad

How this hasn't been fixed yet BAFFLES me, why would you not want viewers to be able to switch between seasons? Insanity. Also the search bar doesn't even work properly making searching for a specific season/episode totally impossible. This ain't it, mama.

I’m literally only subscribed to watch RuPaul’s Drag Race and Dragula. It’s so hard to find video links anywhere, and to spend $4.00 a month is so worth it to me. This app NEVER crashes and is VERY reliable. I don’t have a problem with it. I don’t get why people are complaining about it. It’s a decent price and has excellent video streaming. Ya’ll just have that McDonald’s WiFi.... 😂💁🏼‍♀️ Thank you Out Tv for making a streaming service affordable 😊❤️

Great shows but awful interface

I love a lot of the shows that are being streamed and I may be a little bit harsh with the one star but it’s really that bad. How can something with fantastic shows be accommodated with a buggy interface? I can’t even click on a different season of any show, I have never experienced this bad of an interface before in my life and I really hope they fix it soon.

Would happily continue my subscription if this was fixed. So frustrating to be able to see the episodes but not get to them! (‘Done’ button doesn’t work when selecting a different season).

GREAT content but HORRIBLE app for APPLE TV

I was so confused about the content of the OutTV from Apple Tv channels and the content from their on app for Apple Tv and Iphone. The content from Apple TV channel works better, it has a beautiful layout, smoothly and doesn’t crash. But unfortunately I don’t know why I miss some content there. For any reason they say it’s “not available “, even though the show/season is available on OutTv. So, I subscribed the service directly for the OutTV Go in order to have access to all the content and for the easy way to share it with my partner. But how was my surprise with the app.... It’s very slow to load the images, and today I was watching a show, just changed for another episode and then I was listening two audio at the same time. The audio of the previous content and the audio of the show that I played . It was so annoying, I closed and open the app many times, but everytime I open it, the audio of the show was playing on the main menu . Only the audio.

Anyway, it’s a great content, but the app is horrible. Would be better if I keep my account directly from the OutTv but I could access the content from the Apple Tv Channels. The system works much better there.

Buggy app

Seemed to work really well at first but the season selector wont let me click ‘done’ when I scroll to a new season. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still won’t work. So frustrating!

Not easy to use...

Great series and shows, but Is it that hard to do this app like Netflix, Crave, Disney+, etc ? Subtitles doesn’t really work. The synchronisation is awful. Interface is not easy to use... Chromecast bugs too!

Thanks for the Warnings...

I was all set to download and subscribe to this app so I could watch Rupaul’s Drag Race at my leisure, but then I checked the reviews. Of the many reviews, only a couple were the least bit positive. All the rest say how terrible this app is, that it crashes a lot, won’t sync properly, freezes up, locks you out etc.

And out of all those bad reviews, just how many did the app admins reply to? ZERO!! That tells me all I need to know. I will not bother with it.

Thank you for the reviews. I am sorry you experienced so many problems, but your words have helped me. A decent app would take notice of all the negative reviews and do something about it, or at the very least, take the time to respond to dissatisfied subscribers.

I keep trying to cancel my subscription but it doesn’t work and I keep getting charged. No matter how many times I email I keep getting charged and there is no other way to contact the company. I am quite frustrated

Would be great if I didn’t have to restart my Apple TV every single time to make it work. Sound from previous shows I stopped watching keep playing when I launch the app and watch something else, it’s weird! Big bug.

Good variety but app crashes

The app provides a variety of shows to watch but the app crashes, logs me out, and doesn’t allow shows to play at certain times for no reason. Also, the website doesn’t allow me to login. Disappointed with the performance as I love every show it offers :(

Content is 5* but the app quality is 1*

The app is slow to load content, slow to open, and is very glitchy. I have difficulty logging in which isn’t always fixed by a delete and reinstall. Auto play is flawed and content often plays over another. Regular black screens, and random things play after a show ends.

Constantly crashes now

When I first started using this app on my FireStick I had no issues and really enjoyed it. The content is fantastic, but unfortunately it consistently crashes at 7-8 minutes into what I’m watching. The picture freezes but the audio keeps going. Exiting out and reloading it hasn’t helped, neither has uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Hoping it can get working again soon because I really want to watch my shows!

It will literally keep you subscribed as in continuing to pull money out of your account but lock you out of the content you are paying for, and put you through a loophole of having to subscribe again only for it to fail and never let you watch anything again. Company is almost impossible to contact. Never trusting them again, was subscribed for a good couple months. Until now.

Good content, painful to operate

I have a subscription just to watch a few specific shows, but the mobile app itself is painful. It makes 10 minutes to load anything. The app freezes all the time. Every time an episode ends I need to completely close the app and restart it and wait for it to load back up again. I’ve never been so frustrated with an app in my life.

Wants me to pay twice

If you subscribe to the channel through your cable provider, it doesn’t seem to matter. The app wants you to subscribe here too. I use other “Go” apps like this for other channels; they allow me to log in through my cable company, and they confirm that I am a subscriber. After that, I can access the content. This app doesn’t give that option.

Great content, horrible app

Out TV has incredible content, but the app itself is garbage. It has a horrible time connecting to my chromecast, doesn’t save my place when I pause in the middle of an episode, and the subtitles have been stuck on for six months, with all my effort to turn them off. It’s not user friendly whatsoever, difficult to navigate, and has a frustrating layout. Definitely subscribe to the channel, but do it without the app if you can.

I'm paying for this service and the app is complete garbage?? How does that make any sense. You can't remove closed captioning when it does work but lately, when on Chromecast, I get 5 seconds into a show and it freezes and won't play anymore. Out TV you need to fix this immediately or you will lose me and others as subscribers.

Needs work, casting doesn’t work well.

Every time we try to connect to Chromecast it either doesn't work OR when it works the CC is always on and the app malfunctions and wont let me turn them off. Frustrating!

UX/UI also needs work... very inconsistent and not user friendly.

Great shows but a terrible app

Although I love the shows on this app, the app itself is terrible. It is incredibly slow to load even pictures of shows where as other streaming apps like Netflix or Amazon prime load quickly. Also it crashes whenever I try to watch certain shows like RuPaul’s drag race Untucked and it boots me out constantly. Out TV should certainly go back to their app developers and get their money back.... Or at the very least a huge discount.

As a gay man i try and support apps and channels that have gay content, but outtv go is by far the worst app! I have an apple tv at home and it literally takes a whole day to be able to watch any content using it, I'm not sure of the platform they are using but for god sakes fix the issue

Cannot login

2.5 but I’ll give it a 3/5 star review because I love the content available on OUTtvGo. I sign in using Google on my laptop and pay for the monthly subscription. The frustration i experience with the service however is that I cannot log in on any other platform sadly, only web browser on a computer. The iPhone app and fire tv apps both do not let me log in. Makes it difficult to stream the shows i want where I want. I hope the development team works on better support when using 3rd party services to log in or I may have to watch Untucked elsewhere.

Not worth the money

A terrible app both on iPhone and Apple TV. Have any of you at OutTV actually tried using this app? Who on Earth thought of the abysmal search system that shows no info for the episodes, no full series, and cryptic thumbnails?! Baffling. Not to mention I literally can’t watch Untucked because every time I go to open it the app crashes. I’ve had issues with OutTV’s website before (try to find a working TV schedule of theirs, I dare you) and now it seems they’re failing digitally again. How disappointing and embarrassing for them.

Can’t remove the close caption. I tried to remove and reinstall the app and it didn’t change anything. Plus they are misplace in the frame :(

Why am I paying for this?

The app is so glitchy I can’t even get anything to load. 9 out of 10 times, It just will not load ANYTHING. I was willing to put up with the closed captioning that can never be turned off, the glitchy binge watching that skips every other episode, and the inability to see full episode titles or descriptions, but now I can’t even get WHAT I PAID FOR. Which sucks because there is a lot of content on here that I want to watch. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, every possible thing I could think of, and this piece of crap app just refuses to let me watch anything.

Untucked causes app close

When ever I choose to watch untucked the app closes. Only way to watch untucked is using search function. But search results don’t display episode information so incredibly frustrating trying to find the episode you want to watch. Please fix and update. Will change rating once fixed.

Closed captioning ALWAYS defaults to on, series never go back to the season I was watching, just glitchy in general. Not intuitive, the only two stars are for carrying all the Drag Race content I need.

I only use this app for Rupauls Drag Race - but for one episode I normally have to restart the episode or the app 2 or 3 times - which really is unacceptable for a paid app - really unacceptable. I won’t renew - sorry :/. Michelle Visage would be unimpressed.

so slow

technically the app works i can watch shows whatever but it’s SO SLOW!!! it’s glitchy and annoying to work with i’m constantly pausing shows and it takes too much time to load. My wifi it perfectly fine in every other app but decides to act up in this one? i used my data because that’s the only way i could get decent use of this app and it used over 3GB of data in a day. Fix this.

Consistently missing content

I don’t recommend paying for this app as they are very unreliable when it comes to making new episodes and content available. They also don’t answer you after you ask about missing episodes. I will be cancelling my subscription and getting content via Itunes as I want it.

So glitchy and slow!!

It was working when I first downloaded it but now it seems to be so glitchy! Even though I have wifi that works with everything else, videos on OUTTVGo are constantly buffering/crashing/giving error messages. I can watch an episode for about 15 seconds before it just freezes and never starts again. Super frustrating! Probably won’t be renewing my subscription, unless there is a fix soon.
