The WeatherX Forecast app is your solution to forecast barometric pressure changes. Use this app in conjunction with your WeatherX earplugs as a proactive approach to help manage your weather-related headaches.

How to: Place your earplugs in prior to the shift in barometric pressure (as notified by a push notification) OR at the start of any symptoms.

With the WeatherX Forecast app, you have access to:

- A full 5-day barometric pressure forecast

- A full 5-day barometric pressure historical record

- Push notifications alerting upcoming weather systems

-Customizable pressure threshold (adjust your sensitivity to barometric pressure shifts in "Settings”)

These plugs saved my life

I have suffered from pressure headaches for years, never knew how much the weather pressure affected me , I used to be bed ridden for days in a dark room . Been using the plugs for about 4 years , only had one problem

Because I didn’t put them in on time . Love them, they saved my life !

Poor update

The new graphs are terrible compared to the old ones. There’s not nearly enough distance between the data points to make them clearly readable and easily interpretable. I’ve used this app for a number of years but am exploring other options

Don’t like the new changes you made

Old graphs and predictions were much easier to read. Do not like the black background of this new version. Disappointed that you changed it. I used to check the forecast daily. Now it’s just hard to read. Old version was much better

was a very handy program now useless

they have updated the app to be different from what is showing on the preview above. the new user interface is garbage. it has smoothed out the pressure lines so make them meaningless. the dot on the line now doesn’t give you and real meaning as you can’t see what is happening with the pressure.

if you update you can’t go back to the version that worked.

Helps

Not the end all but definitely helps me manage my migraines. I do have the ear plugs, I often wake up with a migraine. So I am sure if I could sleep wth them in that I would able to manage better. I have the small earplug and they hurt to sleep with them in. Disappointing for me with wake up migraines. Also would have to replace the ear plugs weekly (if you go by their recommendations) which makes it too pricey. If you follow the app for ear plug insertion you would need a new pair every week!

Could be better

Notifications don’t seem to be working even though they are enabled. It would be good to see longer term data instead of 5 days or the ability to set a custom timeframe. Also, if you could add a note each time a migraine is triggered it would be easier to look at the data and correlate trends.

The app gives you a general idea but the reading on my phone and my iPad can be different. Sometimes by a lot.

It’s is nice to finally have something in my life to help manage migraine

Only criticism is the dial looks the same no matter the pressure fluctuations, just shows up or down so hard to gauge but the plus actually work very well

Stops offering forecasts

Used for weeks, now it simply says no data for your location. Deleted and reinstalled, worked a bit, then stopped working again. Can’t see why it’s inconsistent.

Doesn’t work

This app doesn’t send me push notifications. What’s the point? I have to go into the app to see the upcoming pressure changes; I can do that on my weather app.

All notifications are on in settings and the notifications exist in the app, but it doesn’t update unless I open the app. Ridiculous.

Made itself unusable

After periodically using it for a few weeks, every time I open it now I get a popup saying that I can “get more” by registering the app — except there’s no way to close the popup. I’m not interested in giving my information to a weather app and so it’s now impossible to use.

Life Saving

Along with medication, I have tried so many ways to relieve my migraines from stretching, foods chiropractic/massage/acupuncture and these have helped BUT since I’ve started using these it has been life changing! I am overly impressed. I do find I use mine quite often as my pressure tolerance is low, and for the past two weeks I haven’t had a constant headache or migraine.

Asks for email and can’t dismiss email modal

It constantly asks for my email and blocks the screen and I can’t dismiss ( even when I tap on the dark underlay) i like this app, but fix either your dark pattern of getting email addresses or your bad UX.

I’ve suffered daily migraines for years. Thanks to these ear plugs, I actually had a day without a migraine!! Truly impressive!

Helpful App

I find it useful to see what the barometric pressure is predicted to be over the next 5-7 days. Then there are times when I haven’t even looked at the app and I’m experiencing a migraine. I open up the app and sure enough the barometric pressure has plummeted. This tells me this app works. The notifications feature doesn’t work for me but that doesn’t really bother me.

An okay-ish reference app

It’s a good reference app for when you remember to look up the forecast for the next couple days. The alert feature (where you get an alert on your phone - to let you know when you might need to use the ear plugs) does not work. So I have not tried the earplugs yet... would also be great to be able to see historic barometric data, to check if previous migraines were triggered by the pressure changes.
