Description

Finally, an easy way to remember to drink more water and monitor hydration!
Pee & See is a simple water reminder app. It doesn't need to know when you drink water or how much you drink.
Instead, just tap one button every time you go to the bathroom! (Great for Apple Watch)
When you haven't peed for 3 hours you'll get a reminder to drink water (except at night).
It's better than a water tracker. Pee & See turns drinking more water into a game.
"It's the #1 number 1 app!"
There are 8 easy ways to log pees with Pee & See:
• Open the app and tap the big "Log Pee" button
• Log a pee from the Widget
• Tap one of the actions on a notification
• Log from the app icon with Haptic Touch or 3D Touch
• Install the Apple Watch app and Complication so you're always just two taps away from logging a pee
• Manually enter the date and time for old pees you forgot to log
• Tell Siri to log a pee
• Slide your finger across the Log Pee button in the app to log a pee at a specific time in the past hour
Adjust the Quiet Hours setting in the app to avoid notifications while you're asleep.
See where you stack up against other urinators on the Leaderboard. Don't break that streak!
Supports Dark Mode, so you can choose the look you prefer.
You can also use Pee & See as a simple pee tracker, and export your data as a CSV. You can even add notes to each pee to keep track of urgency, color, amount, or whatever you'd like.
Customize when you receive water reminders, anywhere from 0–5 hours after you last peed. You can also adjust the interval between notifications from the 30-minute default.
Choose one of several alternate icon designs.
Optionally see the location of your pees on a map.
Pee & See does not provide medical advice. It is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical conditions. It's just a fun way to remember to drink more water or track your pees. Ask a licensed medical professional if you have any questions about:
- kidney stones
- BPH and other prostate conditions
- interstitial cystitis and bladder conditions
- getting well-hydrated to prevent hangovers
Pee & See includes an optional subscription to unlock additional features. If you choose to purchase a subscription, it will be charged to your App Store account and will automatically renew, unless canceled before the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Terms of Use: https://www.peeandseeit.com/privacy-policy.html
— The Story Behind Pee & See —
I was sick of getting headaches.
It seemed like every few weeks I’d lose productivity for half a day or more. My head hurt so badly I didn’t feel like I could do anything.
As I laid in bed with a headache, I thought they might be happening when I hadn’t been drinking much water the past few days.
What would be the easiest way to remind myself to drink water, when I need it most?
I knew there were apps to remind me to drink water based on the amount I drank, but that seemed silly. How would I track the exact amount of water I drank? Would I need a special cup with lines on it? And what if I was going for a run? Wouldn’t I need more water than if I were just sitting around all day?
I thought that if I kept track of when I peed I might be able to use that data to give myself reminders to drink water when I hadn’t peed in a long time.
Even though I had little experience making iPhone apps, I built a prototype for a few friends to test. The people who were committed to drinking more water loved it. So, I released the app to the world in April 2016, and I've been adding to it and improving it since. Many happy users have gone YEARS without missing a day of logging their pees.
Thank you for joining me on my mission to have a positive impact on the world by helping people stay hydrated. The greatest compliment you can give me is a recommendation of this app to a friend or family member!

ok

Fine but not worth the subscription. When I had issues with the app not functioning the creator initially was very helpful but also asked a lot of me in regards to obtaining and sending information so that they could confirm I had been using it correctly which was somewhat frustrating.

Great app

I’ve been using this app for over a year now. It is great and an awesome reminder to drink more water. For a few weeks I have issues with the Siri shortcut. It’s no longer working even after setting it up again.

It’s ok

It doesn’t really provide any information. I would like to log color, and change amounts of times voiding per day. Less than 4 per day is dehydration, and color helps determine hydration. The app would be beneficial if it allowed this additional data and for the algorithm to adjust to said data.

Useful app if you are trying to figure your patterns and frequency

Easy to use and quick to learn. Data is exportable to CSV. Does what is says it should.

Love it

Very well designed app and aesthetic interface. Especially love the integration with the Apple Watch. If you add a shortcut to your Home Screen you can also easily log in one tap. I have IC and this app has been extremely useful. Thank you!

Decent App

Great for tracking especially for medical reasons, I would love to see some other metrics like being able to enter urine test data from a dip stick, or volume etc. even if it’s manual entry.
EDIT:
Please put back the ability to add a pee from the widget screen. Before iOS 14 when I peed in the night I could just swipe my phone to the right quickly and add a pee right there but now it just opens the pee and see app. It was so much better before when you didn’t fully wake yourself up to log a pee. (I log because of a health problem and chronic electrolyte imbalance it’s important for me to track to manage health)

Useful & Amusing

Great little app. I use it with my apple watch and it's easy & fun. I love the sound of the alert on the iPhone ... it makes me laugh every time. More important it makes you drink more water according to your personal needs. I do recommend it.

I don’t wake up at night to pee

I used it because I didn’t pee enough in a day (maybe two times a day). Now I pee 4-5 times a day which is good. The only thing I don’t like is that the app doesn’t consider sleep time. Every morning, it’s in red saying my last pee was 8-9 hours ago. I know! I was sleeping! I don’t get up in the night to pee. So that feels a bit negative and now I have a lot of red in my stats. I wish the app could consider the fact that we sleep sometimes.

Fun and silly but it works

I enjoy this app. It's a bit silly, but that's part of the charm. It works well to keep me hydrating. I'd recommend it for sure!

Harassing

This app could be helpful if for some reason you wished, or needed to track urinations. A good example would be someone with prostate issue or who had a bladder infection. BUT if you do not need to be reminded to drink, either because you are fine as you are, or if you've another means to regulate fluid intake, you might find the reminder to drink function unnecessary and so turn it off. Wrong move. Now you get harassed to turn it on with some unpleasantly cutesy messages. It free so you can try it. As for me and my friend, we are deleting it.

Can I give less than one star

I have 7,654 apps and this is the worst app I have ever seen. After a day of getting too many notifications I turned the feature off. Only for the next time I go to the app be give a pop up stating that if I don't want notifications I should delete the app. As well as the fact that they get an erection every time the app is opened without notifications turned on.
Worst app ever!!!
