I don’t know...
So I wanted to make a podcast with my friends so I put on the thing where you can all do it apart. I don’t really know how to describe this because I deleted it a while ago. Because whenever I tried to do it with my friends it would say no one was in when they were and overall I thought it was glitching. I still believe it was but I’m sure the rest of this podcast app is great. I’ll try again but I’m not optimistic.

It wouldn’t send the confirmation code
Whenever it say send confirmation email I would go into my email and there would be no confirmation email so I couldn’t post a podcast on Spotify otherwise a great app though

Very User-Friendly, but I’ve got Trust Issues
My only beef is that I’ve recorded 2 podcasts that have been entirely erased. It took a couple days for them to respond, but they seemed thorough. However, they were unable to figure out why these recordings were gone.
I haven’t recorded anything since, because I don’t trust it to keep what I recorded. I would gladly pay for a more reliable service.

A Simple Way to Spread Impact
I’ve been using the Anchor app and the web platform to publish my podcasts and it’s been very straightforward. I really appreciate the visibility on show stats. By the way, the support team is very responsive and helpful.

It could get better
It’s simple to use but these are some things that you can do to make the app better:
1- the app gives me a notification badg and sound but when I check the notification section there’s nothing. I think it’s a bug.
2-it would be better if we could upload multiple MP3 files and the app automatically would create a separate episode for each so that we wouldn’t need to upload each episodes MP3 file one by one.
3-it also would be better if we could have multiple Podcasts under the same account. Now if you want to have multiple Podcasts on Anchor, you would have to create separate accounts for each using different emails.
4-it seems like some options are hidden from the users and so you would have to either login to the website or try hard to find those options to turn them on or off. For example the option to allow anchor to attach advertisements to the episode either the beginning or the end was not visible to me on the website and was on by default. They can work on transparency.

Really awesome app
I really love this app. I’m new to podcasting, and this was my first and only app so far. It’s been a really great experience so far. However, I have two small issues. Workflow that’s available in my iOS app isn’t available on the browser edition. The Sounds tab for example isn’t there. Secondly, if the audio editing could be improved, it would be also great. I would have given 5 stars, but those two tings caused me not to.

Distributing your podcast on all platforms
Anchor has been fantastic for my amateur show. Used it for a year, and I’ll keep using it. My podcast, A Private Service Announcement, is on all major platforms, only because Anchor is such a simple service.
The background music library isn’t huge, but if you’re going to be serious about your show, use the money you’re saving with this free app and invest in making background music to your liking, because you can import audio files into the app. Also, voice recording straight to the Anchor app produces great quality sound, although splicing and editing options seem limited.
I definitely recommend Anchor!

Got my podcast up and running fast!
This app is all you need to get started on your own podcast. The tools are quite intuitive to use and if you feel a little unsure, there are many YouTube videos to help. Within a week I uploaded a couple of short podcasts and moved on to adding from their selection of sound effects and background music before uploading.

A very nice app that can be used for beginner and professional purposes. It has everything from audio clipper to background music. You can even record chats online for your podcasts. I really enjoy using this app to make my podcasts. The only thing is that they don’t have a very advanced audio clipper.

iPad version different from iPhone
Why does this app not work the same on my iPad mini as on my iPhone? It won’t allow me to access podcast platforms that are available on the iPhone anchor app. Very strange and frustrating!
