Every call screen is forwarded to a US number. If you do not have a US plan you pay the charges for every call. They need a Canadian number and they should make this clearer!

It was fun listening to a marketer talking to Samuel L Jackson for a full 1 minute but the app didn't work me. I live in Canada and some of these calls would get forwarded to an US number - these 2 features (call forwarding and long distance) are not included in my plan. I ended up paying and extra $30 for my last month's bill. Doing this every month just to zap telemarketers is not worth it to me. I have contacted apple for a refund.

Omg I’m so mad. I live in Vancouver Canada and when calls come in they are forwarded by RoboKiller to Fort St John where their call screening is located and Telus charged me long distance for EVERY call forwarded!! I emailed RoboKiller support but they took 4 weeks to get back to me even after multiple emails! They told me to dial ##004# on my cell phone to stop the call forwarding so I did and that worked but it basically stops RoboKiller from doing its job that I PAID FOR. Do NOT use this app in Canada.😡

This is just another spam blocking app that is not upfront about their prices. It will be free until you actually go to change the setting to “block spam calls” and then you will be prompted to buy the premium version. there is no getting around it if you actually want to use the app for what it is intended.

Can’t add a country code nor range of numbers. It only accepts to the North America numbers (1+). The support site also is terrible. The instruction title says use wild card for range of number block but there is no relevant content for wild card. I want my money back and no email on website either to contact. Just terrible...

You can’t even try it... You are pretty much obligated to choose a plan even if you want to try it before any compromise to pay, if you close the offer you get another one and then you can’t do anything about it.

Advertise as free and once you get the app you have to put in your phone number to make sure your phone carrier will work with the program. Once you enter phone number they offer you membership prices, once I went to say no and delete the app they offer a 50% off price and I closed the app and deleted it. It is not FREE as advertised.

I tried this out for a month. It blocked all incoming calls, so i uninstalled and deleted it, only it kept the voicemail forwarding number intact, making it impossible to receive any voicemails. I had to call my carrier to fix this. Lost a lot of business because of this, since callers would leave a message to some random voicemail inbox (after deleting the app!!), and i would just assume the caller didnt leave a message. It could not be fixed myself. Stay away!!

Once a program like this can flag SPAM phone calls as accurately as say Google’s Gmail can flag SPAM email, I’ll consider paying for it. Right now though, I’m missing way too many legitimate calls that RoboKiller is incorrectly flagging as SPAM. I’ve deleted the app and cancelled my subscription.

This app is works well though getting it to work required a few tweaks. For now this app is probably best left for the more tech savvy.
First up, in order to use selective call blocking you may need to have your mobile provider remove voicemail. Rogers customers need to do this.
Next confirm the voicemail tab appears in the app. If not, open a support ticket.
If you need to remove the app you may need to have your provider reset selective call forwarding to go to your voicemail.

I deleted the app and went to the website but there’s no other option to cancel and a week later they charged me $46.32 Canadian!!!!!
I originally wanted this app because of IRLRosie, love her lots, she said she was one of the answer bots and I really need an answer bot, but this app only allows me to add a number to a block list which my phone already does. Sadly these ROBOKILLER developers scammed me out of $46 and I still have to deal with the same scammers calling me with their burner numbers everyday. I’m thoroughly disappointed.
