after updating to the Ecobank mobile app to 4.08 on iPhone 11pro i can’t access the application anymore. I’m experiencing same effect on iPhone 8.
After update, app stops working.
I am currently outside Ghana and I have been using this mobile app for all my transactions. Without any notification, Ecobank just upgraded the platform and replaced with this scam app. Since November I can’t do anything with the app I tried getting live chat assistant but nothing. I tried contacting my branch through the manager and others I personally know at the bank but they don’t seems to be honest with me. The manager at the Burma camp branch promised to help but he failed. Now I am here wondering how to access this scam and transfer money.....this is very unfair treatment.
I'm out of the country for 3 years and I can't access my mobile banking app because of the rules of my phone number. I'm highly disappointed in this app
How can you make an upgrade without testing it, knowing fully well that lives depend on this. This is a sham and the developer needs to be fired ASAP

I travel a lot , with the all signing out and ask you to active while outside the country with no access to the local phone line it’s ridiculous. I haven’t been able to activate for months now . I chatted online with the customer service but still no solution. So I have to wait a year to go back in order to go to a local branch . Very disappointed.
I leave abroad and it always ask you for a local number to activate . We all have access online trough a computer , why not juste put in place a system to use the same login we use online . Hard to understand !

I got an ecobank account at Ivory Coast, I can use internet banking, but I can't activate my mobile banking app cause we need an local mobile phone number to receive PIN code. Why you don't abroad customer to use they local mobile phone?
