About four years with Roon now, even upgraded to the Roon nucleus. Can’t think of a better way to store, organize and stream high res music. Great job. The interface is outstanding and integration with Roon ready devices is super (simaudio). Now, just need a CarPlay compatible Roon companion app so I can take my music with me....
Great idea, mediocre UI

I thought it’s a much needed idea with all the diversity in music systems, apps, sources etc. But the app misses the plot in a big way: we should be able to use this “remote” to play music on any device. The devices should therefore be the central figure, the anchor, in the UI. They’re not. Instead the app is a confusing array of options, albums, artists. Importantly, what I don’t see is a simple view of my own Tidal playlists to play on my devices either. I see generic Tidal playlists by genre. What the heck? I can do that within Tidal.

I have a 500GB iPhone Plus Max. What is the point of Roon if I can’t import songs directly into the Roon player and play back my flac music on my iPhone.

Best software for music organization. If you have a huge music library Roon will organize it in the best way possible. This is a must have for the digital audiophile. Highly recommended!!!

Hi this is great for controlling Roon from afar, but it’s crashing a lot on my iOS iPhone 6, latest update.. fix this for 5 stars ! It also doesn’t mirror the song being currently played when the core is running, but rather the last song played after last shut down.
App will not find library and needs to reloaded.

Not sure if it my network but doubt it. Roon is running on the server and the library is active but the app hangs and cannot find the library. My work around is to delete and re-download

I can't get this app to install. All my other apps install without issue, but for some reason this will not. Very Frustrating as the service itself is spectacular and a real game changer.

If u have Roon and an ipad, this is a no brainer. Using it to drive my (monitorless) mac mini audio server. Day one and appears to be working without any issue. Love Roon with Tidal!
