StairCalc is designed for carpenters, contractors and builders who need accurate stair, decking & flooring calculations.
It is designed to save you the time and effort required for these building calculations - but it is not intended to teach you how to build stairs or decking - you already know how.
No need to remember complex data entry steps in order to enter data - start entering in any field. Double tap on buttons for help and guides.
Simultaneously find solutions when restrictions on tread, step rise, incline and 2R+G are required or ignore All or any number of restrictions - maximum flexibility.
Calculate when overall Rise & Run are both variable or fix either one - uses Long press Option.
Accurate and reliable, it is an indispensable tool for the stair framing, decking & flooring construction pro.

STAIRCALC INCLUDES:-
STAIR FRAMING (currently for single stair runs):-
Set upper and lower limits for step rise, treads, incline values and the slope formula 2R+G (2R+TD in some areas) where required by codes - all or only some applied at the same time.
In addition to handling multiple restrictions simultaneously Staircalc also allows for situations where the overall stair rise is fixed or the stair run is fixed or both rise and run are fixed allowing maximum flexibility.

This update includes the addition of ‘DECKING’ - a decking & flooring estimator / calculator.
Decking provides material layout, quantities, costing in a convenient 1 screen view.
The update also removes reference to a French Version (our apologies) which while started has not been completed and was included in error.
Decking has been added as new tab.
Tabs can be reorganised if required by going to the 'More' tab and pressing 'Edit'. Swipe the preferred Tabs to the tab bar at the bottom and 'Done'.
Older tabs will be gradually updated to the newer format based on feedback we receive.
The app requires IOS 11 or higher and is optimised for iPads & iPhones - Including iPhone XS, XSMax.
Requires Full Screen at the moment on the iPad.

Version 2.0:
Includes the addition of new calculators - Set Out , Concrete Estimator, Converter (Length, Area, Volume).
Also included are some general improvements and minor bug fixes in the stand alone general calculator.

• Setout / Timber Spacing Layout - includes insets, timber width and equal, fixed and maximum settings;
• Convert - Allows conversion of length, area and volume. Convert between metric and US/imperial units including decimal and fractional units yards, feet & inches.
